Speaker Nancy Pelosi viciously attacked the Supreme Court, a separate branch of our government, as “dangerous to freedom.” Then she blamed President Trump, calling him a “creature” who had “polluted the courts” (with competent, constitutional originalists, no less).
Those “originalists” are now pondering the demise of Roe v. Wade, the impetus for Nancy’s rage, but they’re also worried about their safety and that of their families from Leftist violence.
Pelosi’s rage at the inevitable end to mass killing of tens of millions of defenseless pre-born children and the profits lost as a result has, to quote a famous mentor to Barack Obama, “come home to roost.” Hearing Nancy’s virulent outbursts demonizing the Supreme Court has influenced others to act, as has the outrage from other Democrat leaders…
In ancient mythology, there lived a beast called the hydra. The greatly-feared monster boasted nine deadly heads. Attempts to kill it met with defeat because cutting off a head merely caused another to grow in its place. One of these heads was considered immortal. It couldn’t be killed, though a few brave souls had tried it. But at last, the beast was finally stricken dead with a mighty effort by the hero Hercules. This kind of courage is needed today.
Though abortion seems as unstoppable as the hydra, our Supreme Court could be the Hercules to end its horror. No matter how many times we have tried to kill abortion in the past, it springs forth anew. The newest horror is that now, even after birth, in some places a helpless infant is potentially subject to murder. Of course, it has no ability to defend itself…
The Biden administration and representatives – who are not – in Congress have been sloughing off their duty to serve the people who elected them. The last point about the elections is debatable considering the overwhelming evidence of widespread fraud. Yes, fraud.
The trouble is that local and state officials have been equally derelict in their duty to block and nullify unconstitutional interference from the nation’s capital that has been subjugating the people longer than the two years of Covid madness.
For months, solutions that are available to county and state governments have been identified here and by some others. Still, those holding office as county commissioners, state legislators and city officials have done little to nothing. Their cowardice has been and continues to be monumental as they’ve ignored the deepening economic fiasco the federal government created and has forced upon citizens…
Our founders had much to say regarding what kind of people we need to be in order to have a successful experiment in self-government. They laid out a formula for success, tried and true, after thousands of years of social experimentation.
Contrary to what many people would like to believe, mankind has not changed. There is no improved version. We still suffer the seven deadly sins of lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy, and pride.
“We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion . . . Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”John Adams, 1798
Back in March, the Biden administration celebrated the “International Transgender Day of Visibility” by extolling the virtues of the kindly sounding “gender-affirming care.” But this innocuous sounding term can be extraordinarily hazardous to the health of young people – puberty blockers, hormone therapy and “gender affirming” therapies – all irreversible – are part of the program.
This bit of insanity was followed by a major rewrite of Title IX in May, which prohibits sex discrimination and harassment in programs receiving federal funds, and now includes discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender. As The Federalist’s Joy Pullman explains, any establishments that accept any federal funding for food, including schools, “must also allow males who claim to be female to access female private spaces, such as showers, bathrooms, and sleeping areas.” These organizations must also follow protocols “such as requiring staff to use inaccurate pronouns to describe transgender people and allowing male staff to dress as women while on the job…”
We continue to urge citizens to take ownership of the responsibility to keep the Republic!
Remember, an educated and enlightened citizenry is vital for our future. As it has been written:
“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” Proverbs 29:18 – KJV
The Citizens Voice provides information that the mainstream media hopes people don’t receive. Forward these newsletters to your friends and let them witness, first hand, that there is more than one side to a story. Then they will begin to understand the peril that our nation is in and be able to make informed decisions.
We are truly thankful for all of our readers who have chosen to assist our efforts in bringing the information and words of encouragement to all Americans we can possibly reach. We are truly grateful for the generous donations from our fellow Citizen Sentinels. It helps us keep going as a truly volunteer effort. Thank you so very much for whatever can be given.
“If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin.” ~ Samuel Adams, 1776
Ownership of our Republic is now the fight of our time! Keeping our Republic depends upon the genuine sense of ownership of the Land of the Free. Either this is our country, or it will belong to those who are actively seeking to take it from us. It is the same mentality that inspired someone long ago to express the sentiment that “All it takes for evil to triumph is that good people do nothing.” Efforts to take responsibility for keeping this nation a free Republic are organically occurring right now all across the nation.
