FOUNDER’S MESSAGE:

As we get closer to the Thanksgiving holiday, many Americans are discovering they have more than the recent election results to ponder as so much information is being brought into the light and exposed for public consumption. The fact that so much information is coming into the bright light of the noonday sun, there is hope that such truth would make us much more free. That in itself is a cause for hope and a cause for genuine gratitude during this Thanksgiving season.

While our Sunday edition featured the first part of the article I offered: “The Pain and the Peace Leading to the ‘First Thanksgiving,’” the second part will be posted in the Citizen Voice in our Thanksgiving edition on Thursday. However, tomorrow, as previously announced, the LightWing Messages are going live in an opportunity to connect via Zoom, if readers would like to share more about my Sunday message.

We have two messages today and the first is offered by a new writer to the Citizen Sentinels Network, but by no means is he a new writer in reality. I met Kevin McGary a number of years ago at a Content of Character event, which was sponsored by the Salt & Light Council. He is an author and activist and an incredible patriot and his new book, Woked Up, is a brief but powerful exposure of the real white supremacists in America today.  Mr. McGary has consented to have the Citizen Voice post his articles, and so we are pleased to share today an article that was originally posted in TownHall and is entitled, “Are You Complicit With Evil? Here’s a Litmus Test!” Kevin McGary is very provocative, and if one gets a chance, the recent book is quite revealing.

The second article we offer for our readers is from Michael Lewinski, who is one of the longest associated writer connected to our writers’ network going all the way back to the days of Dr. Ben Carson’s campaign for POTUS. He makes it clear that “We are Not a Democracy.”

As we get farther into the week, closer to Thanksgiving, I would simply share as one who writes  about and understands history being used as a weapon, even the “First Thanksgiving” has been adversely affected by misdirected or misplaced resentment and mindless hatred, which pollutes what should be a normal festive holiday for family and friends. Nevertheless, on Thanksgiving Day, the focus is usually on food or football and the truth takes a backseat. Our Thanksgiving edition will feature the second part of my article that attempts to portray the true history of the actual event in a way that could make the holiday much more digestible – minus the vitriol. And if one gets a chance on Wednesday, tune into the Zoom call I’ll be hosting to have a discussion about the truth of the original festivities.

Are You Complicit With Evil? Here’s a Litmus Test!

Dietrich Bonhoeffer gravely warned: “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil… Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.”

Using Bonhoffer’s truth as our test, we all should consider whether we have been silent after observing the grotesque racism of the Los Angeles City Council. Another is whether we are meekly silent when we observe criminals committing horrible crimes and then being immediately released from jail so they can engage in even more heinous acts. What about when we are silent after seeing multiple instances of ruthless thugs randomly attacking and maiming elderly citizens? Following the basic logic and tenets of Bonhoeffer’s quote: If you are not expressing outrage about the brazen attack on humanity, you are complicit in evil!

Usually outspoken leaders of the Democratic Party were quiet when observing manifest racism from the president and leaders of Los Angeles City Council who (for example) deemed “Mexican Americans” as “a lot of little short dark, ugly people.” They remained quiet despite learning the president of the Council was quoted calling the son of a fellow council member “a little monkey who needs a beat down.” Everyone should agree the grotesquely hateful racist remarks require a strong response and the demand for immediate resignations. Yet, while there was an outcry from people groups living in Los Angeles, there were few (or no) condemnations demanding immediate resignations from Newsom, Biden, or any other leaders in the Democrat Party. Why? If we apply the sentiment of Bonhoeffer’s quote, we’d have to say they’re acting in ways complicit with evil!

Perhaps asserting someone may be complicit with evil based on a single incident is too harsh. But what about other incidences that include lenient policies that actually encourage rampant crimes? Don’t crimes committed by repeat offenders who take full advantage of “no cash bail reforms” deserve rebuke? Repeat criminals who commit crimes are too often immediately released, enabling them to engage in an escalating cascade of even more brazen crimes (often more aggressive and heinous, even leading to the deaths of many innocent victims). With countless incidents of rampant grotesque criminality fully enabled by Left/Progressive/Democrat District Attorneys (DAs), shouldn’t there be screams of “injustice” from both political Parties? We should hear them roundly condemning and rejecting DAs who fail to protect citizens (instead of using the authority of their office to encourage and support endless crimes and criminals). But alas, Democrat leadership, including Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, and respective Democrat mayors and governors, are silent…complicit! Is it fair to now judge whether actions are complicit with evil based on Bonhoeffer’s warning?

We’re all reading about the rash of innocent elderly citizens being set upon by ruthless thugs, some being stabbed, some clubbed and nearly beaten to death at the hands of heartless cowards committed to wreaking maximum havoc in Democrat Cities. Anyone possessing morals and a conscience should be appalled! There should be a unified agreement to change laws to ensure mentally disturbed violent criminals don’t freely roam the streets looking for their next victim (often elderly or Asian). While everyone can see manifest carnage and moral decay throughout our major cities, regrettably Democrats (generally) are silent and seemingly wholly complicit. Is it fair to judge leaders of the Democratic Party for being complicit with evil now?

Maybe the focus on Democratic leadership is unfair. Speaking more broadly, if Democrat party voters (generally) are silent amid rampant evils precipitated by policies embraced by the leadership of the Party, aren’t they themselves complicit? If Democrats don’t hold their leaders accountable for such gross derelictions and instead continue to vote them into power, aren’t those voters guilty of the evils? While thoughtful, moral, ethical, and principled Democrats are hard to find, Tulsi Gabbard is one who now rejects blindly following Party evils. But she’s just one person! Where are others who reject the racist actions and abhorrent policies of the Party?

Maybe it’s hard to imagine that all “die-hard” Democrats are evil. But in light of Bonhoeffer’s message, we must consider that possibility. Perhaps there are a large number of Democrats who have already emotionally left the Party, but due to the Leftist horrors of “cancel culture” and corrosive pressures of Progressive wokeism, they don’t feel safe announcing their displeasure and departure. So perhaps they will send a message on November 8th!

Will you send a message on November 8th? Are you happy going along with evil policies? Do you support evil persons? Answering these questions will help you answer for yourself whether you tacitly embrace evil. But perhaps you won’t know for sure until you sincerely and introspectively ponder the policies of the Party (and its leadership) and cast your vote accordingly.

In light of Bonhoeffer’s moral clarity, November 8th will confirm much. Electoral outcomes will reveal whether there are a significant number of tacitly evil individuals and demonstrate the degree to which we have devolved into an evil nation.

We Are Not A Democracy

James Madison in Federalist 10, said, “A crucial advantage of Republicanism is to refine the public views by passing them through the medium of a chosen body of citizens whose wisdom may best discern the true interest of the country.” Yet, The Progressive Democratic Socialists/Communist party campaigned on the theme we would lose our Democracy if          you voted for the evil Republicans.

With that theme and scare tactics about abortion, Progressives turned a red tsunami into a

little red wave throughout the country. With their lies, many people were fooled into voting for Democrat candidates. Not here in Indiana, or in Ohio, or in Florida, Texas, Alabama, North Dakota, Arizona, and other states as well. The lies took hold in Nevada, Michigan, Illianois,   and other blue states.

As a people, we must think long and hard about the election we just came through. we must  ask ourselves what we can learn from the election and what we can do differently. We will in   the 2024 general election have a senatorial advantage. Will will have a great standard bearer with President Trump, Governor Kristi Noem, Governor Desantis, or Governor Karie Lake.  Good prospects lie in our future when we Dump Biden, the great pretender.

My friend, Denis Jamison, a historian. like myself, has a good idea on how to approach the revitalization of our Constitutional Republic. “It is extremely important to bear in mind that our nation was not conceived by a military leader, or brought into existence by a superior military force overwhelming an enemy. The nation was conceived in liberty by the people. The nation was created in liberty for the people. It needs to be revitalized through the action of the people. Humility, repentance, seeking God in earnest, and honestly turning from wicked ways is not just a biblical verse to be chanted in some wishful mantra. It is a genuine course of action to be followed in the process of our nation’s rebirth, and humility is just the first step of the journey.”

Ownership of our Republic is now the fight of our time! Keeping our Republic depends upon the genuine sense of ownership of the Land of the Free. Either this is our country, or it will belong to those who are actively seeking to take it from us. It is the same mentality that inspired someone long ago to express the sentiment that “All it takes for evil to triumph is that good people do nothing.” Efforts to take responsibility for keeping this nation a free Republic are organically occurring right now all across the nation.
