CSN Newsletter 11/3/2020 – Should Christians Vote? Election Day Violence?
From Our Founder…10/29/20
This is the day Americans have been waiting for, and for some of the “political junkies” throughout the country, it can turn into Christmas, or the worst of a Halloween nightmare. But for most Americans, it is that kind of election this year – a most historic election as never before have the implications for a future been so diverse. Just the fact that citizens find themselves in such a confusing dilemma is a testimony to the erosion of the traditional values that have guided the nation from the beginning. There is little room to stand anymore on those founding principles.
The truth of the matter is that we did not just “find” ourselves in this moment in time. What we are emerged is not any accident that just popped up on the horizon one day.
What we are emerged in is the result of a long slow and deliberate struggle to push us to this point by powers of this world, and those beyond this world. Yet, we can choose; it has always been a choice from the very beginning of human existence on the planet. We have always been free to choose, and it was truly expressed quite dramatically at the founding of this nation: “Give me Liberty, or give me death.” Despite, whether we want it or not, we have come full circle to this statement of conviction, however dramatic it may seem. Our future is in our hands as a people. It is that simple, yet that complex.
Without belaboring it any longer, we offer other words from our network writers that provide their perspectives on America on the threshold of the choice we will make today. There have been confirmations of varying reports that the Revolutionary Left has activated plans to use violence and destructive tactics as a way of “protesting” election results — that may be whether Biden wins or loses. A. Dru Kristenev examines this type of scenario post election 2020. She has a unique perspective as her father was Jewish and fled Russia in the days of turbulence in that nation. Her words have weight. Her article examines the Jewish history in the days of Esther in light of contemporary times.
Don Rosenberg examines in his article, the many born-again Christians who claim President Trump is not “worthy” of their votes. He pivots off of the Pastor Piper issue that has been brought up in our Sunday edition the past two Sundays, but his perspective represents a point of view that is locked in the Christian domain.
Dr. Robert Owens weighs in as a sincere Christian in his article on President Trump as he views the POTUS as “America’s Most Pro-Life President” and provides an extensive list of actual accomplishments that the Trump Administration has achieved to prove it. For the advocates of Life, this one reason provides enough stimulus to provide Trump a second term in which to continue to work to promote and protect Life in its most vulnerable form.
My article in our Election Day edition looks beyond this election to some extent because the Left have advanced their agenda in several of the states, and they have taken over a good number of states in America. The object is “eating the elephant” one bite at a time, and if one looks at the nation from this perspective, their best laid plans include the installation of a one-party system over the nation as has been done in California.
My article examines the effort to destroy the Electoral College, which is at the heart of the Republic if free and fair elections will continue to exist. It is a real and substantial threat, and the only way to end the threat is to end the cause of the threat – the utter defeat of the Democrat Party, or whatever they choose to call themselves.
Along those lines, we have been working with readers to use TruetheVote as a viable resource during this election year. We are concerned about the fraud, as readers can see by the articles we have included in our editions leading to today. For anyone who witnesses something out of the ordinary, or witnesses what appears to be illegal, we’re posting the hotline number for TruetheVote to use if needed: 855-702-0702 or visit truethevote.org to submit a report online. Their Election Integrity Hotline is a 24/7, bilingual resource to support election workers, poll watchers, and all voters during this unprecedented time.
We actually have two recommended videos – which are related in a genuine way.
The first video is from Campus Reform, which is one part of a larger series they have offered. But this part we are featuring shows young people who are part of minority populations that respond to the coercion from white liberals who want to tell them so freely how they should think or vote. It is illuminating and shows hope for our future. The second video is from Tucker Carlson who, in one sense, explains the phenomena in the first video. Trump has earned the disdain of the ruling class because he stands against such “elitism” in the political as well as the public arena. Have a great Election Day! God Bless America Today!

Will Election Day be a virtual rerun of Esther 9?
Should Christians vote on Tuesday? Responding to Pastor John Piper
By Don Rosenberg, 11/2/2020
I have spent a good deal of time over this political season trying to figure out why certain groups vote the way they do and why others don’t vote at all. One such group is Christians who hold a theological view that voting is a worldly process that takes their eyes off their primary goal of bringing people to Jesus Christ.
John Piper is a prominent Christian thinker and chancellor of Bethlehem College & Seminary. He was pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota for 33 years and has written more than 50 books, including “Desiring God: Meditations of a Christian Hedonist” and most recently “Coronavirus and Christ.” On October 22, he wrote an article discussing his vote in November called “Policies, Persons, and Paths to Ruin – Pondering the Implications of the 2020 Election.” In it, he wonders why Christians view certain sins as “toxic” and other sins as “deadly.”
He lists some “toxic sins” as “unrepentant sexual immorality (porneia), unrepentant boastfulness (alazoneia), unrepentant vulgarity (aischrologia), unrepentant factiousness (dichostasiai)” and “deadly sins” as “baby-killing, sex-switching, freedom-limiting, and socialistic overreach.” He says “Forgiveness through Christ is always possible where there is repentance and childlike trust in Jesus. But where humble repentance is absent, the sins condemn.”
America’s Most Pro-Life President
by Dr. Robert Owens – 11/2/2020
For those of us with even a passing knowledge of biology the idea that life begins at conception is not a religious or moral decision it is an empirical fact. Within the impregnated egg is the spark of life. In tandem with this is the knowledge that this fertilized egg contains the genetic code for a unique individual, a member of the human family. For those who believe God is the source of all life we know the fundamental genesis of this reality even if we don’t know the particulars of a specific case. This last sentence could be called an article of faith. The three preceding sentences are not a leap in the dark. They are fact-based and undeniable.
In 1973, the Supreme Court gave the world a perfect example of politically motivated myth making when they supposedly discovered the right to privacy hidden in the words of the Fourth Amendment. This Amendment never mentions privacy and actually deals with unreasonable searches and seizures. The imperial Supreme Court by declaring abortion a civil right was in effect legislating and not adjudicating. Ever since, Americans who believe life is given by God and shouldn’t be taken by man have longed for a President who would do more than espouse pro-life values during election campaigns.
Destroying the Electoral College is Just Another Form of Voter Suppression
By Dennis Jamison –November 3, 2020
Anticipating the outcome of the 2020 elections may drive people crazy, and since there is a low credibility threshold for the accuracy of crystal balls, Americans will just have to wait until all the legitimate ballots are counted. Of course, there are a couple of loaded points in that statement. First, the question may linger as to just how many of the ballots were legitimate; and second, how can it be ensured that only legitimate ballots are truly counted. The underlying concern at this point is whether American elections are free as well as fair. It is simply one component of “Making America Great Again.” Most people should agree that America could be considered great again when elections no longer fall under suspicion like those elections in the so-called “third-world” nations.
Currently, there is little difference as cheating is just another term for one political party’s “shrewd election strategy.” Not that cheating is above either party, Americans are aware of it, and the cheating can be identified and can be prosecuted, (which it has), and such actions are punishable under the law—unless it is not. Ever wonder what happens to those who are caught in election fraud? Ever wonder what happens when people cheat and are not caught? Well, that would be a non brainer because cheaters would be put in a position of responsibility as an elected official. Cheating actually eats away the deeper integrity of America’s elections, and if unchecked, cheaters are elected and become our “leaders.”
That in itself should be a scary enough thought, but only recently have many American citizens become concerned about election integrity enough to take action against those multiple ways in which elections can be stolen. An interesting side note is that Hillary Clinton felt she was cheated out of winning the presidency in 2016 because of that dastardly Electoral College, which is the Constitutional method by which our president has been elected since the very beginning. Now, it has been observed that Ms. Clinton has become an elector in the state of New York, so much for the illegalities of how some Democrats now view the Electoral College.
THE ANT AND THE GRASSHOPPER Two Different Versions… Two Different Morals
The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter. The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away. Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed. The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.
MORAL OF THE OLD STORY: “Be responsible for yourself!”
The ant works hard in the withering heat and the rain all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter. The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away. When the cold winter comes, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while he is cold and starving…
