CSN Newsletter 12/29/2020 – Will we fight for our freedom?
From our Founder…
As American citizens move past the holidays of December and cross the threshold into the new year, there is great political tension and uncertainty within the nation. It is more unusual than in past periods of transition from one year to the next. Even among trusted leaders within the political arena and within the realms of faith and religion, there seems to be a lack of certainty about the nation’s future — not just in the next few days as folks celebrate the New Year, but years beyond. What will future generations look back upon?
What will historians have to report about this period of American history?
There is an appropriate story regarding Benjamin Franklin at the convention that was held in Philadelphia that we call the Constitutional Convention today. Although it was not the name given to it at that time, it was a moment that decided the future of our nation for more than 233 years. The “father of the Constitution,” James Madison, who took extensive notes for the benefit of history, is reported to have recorded this observation toward the close of the Constitutional Convention in 1787:
Whilst the last members were signing it [i.e., the Constitution] Doct FRANKLIN looking towards the Presidents Chair, at the back of which a rising sun happened to be painted, observed to a few members near him, that Painters had found it difficult to distinguish in their art a rising from a setting sun. I have said he, often and often in the course of the Session, and the vicissitudes of my hopes and fears as to its issue, looked at that behind the President without being able to tell whether it was rising or setting: But now at length I have the happiness to know that it is a rising and not a setting Sun.
America has entered the days that Franklin had prophesied about at that same time in the Philadelphia Convention as to whether Americans could truly keep the Republic.
My article today looks to another time, a time that eventually led to the Constitutional Convention. The article again examines the “dark winter” of 1776. It also was a time of transformation in which the birth pangs of a new nation were quite painful. The article is a call for Christians, peoples of faith, conservatives, and patriots who love their country to rise to the current need of the nation, which is to help the light of that rising sun to continue to shine upon the Land of the Free and the home of the brave.
An article from network blogger, Yaacov Ben Moshe, posted just before Thanksgiving this year, asks a deeper existential question: Who Are We Now? Are we still Americans, or are we all Socialists now? It tackles what has been happening in America in the past decade to push us to this critical point today. Incidentally, we congratulate Yaacov Ben Moshe on his new site: “The Deeper Thought Blog” https://thedeeperthought.com/blog/ You can find him there as well as occasional postings in American Thinker.
Another question, although not as deep, but quite pertinent given the most recent events in America since the days of the fraudulent election, is asked by Don Rosenberg. He asks the basic question many may be asking in his article: “What Happened to the FBI?” in light of what he calls “the biggest crime in American history—the stealing of a Federal election?” It is not just Rosenberg that is asking this question – perhaps one third of the country is too!
Writer Craig Huey has some answers, not to those questions, but to many citizens’ questions about the Socialist lockdown mandates across the country. Huey provides four critical points citizens should know about the growing “Lockdown Revolt.” Readers should know these things about why the revolt is growing as we move into 2021.
The final article we offer today is the first part of a longer article from the MyFaithVotes website from a contributor named Jennifer McAlister. Her article, “With An Unveiled Face,” is much longer, so we made it into two parts and the second part will appear in our New Year’s Eve edition on Thursday. Although she appears to be a young writer, she offers profound wisdom from the Bible.
The video selections are very powerful today, if I am forced to confess. There are a couple of broad overview types of news videos that provide coverage on a wide range of issues currently facing our nation. One features an NTD report on a number of things, but it does include an interview with Charlie Kirk who says he is not giving up on Trump! (Note: one has to scroll down to the live button to see the video) The other video is from “Facts Matter with Roman Balmakov.” He goes into possible winning scenarios for the re-election of Donald Trump. But, click on them all.
LastIy, I again offer our thanks to those readers who could respond to my pleas for financial assistance. We need your help. It has always been the citizens’ newsletter. So with all that we face in this serious battle, as truth is trampled by those who claim to be “informing” the public with the news, we are most grateful for our family of readers who trust that we are serious in our mission. Thank you! Note, we will have a New Year’s Eve edition, but it will resemble more of a hybrid between the regular news editions and our Sunday edition format. It is something new as we get ready for the new year. Also, we wish for our readers a fulfilling and meaningful season moving into the New Year!

Bold and Courageous Americans Required to Forge the Future of Freedom
American history is full of stories of how, in times of tribulation and tremendous trials, true heroes emerge. Of course, that doesn’t show up in the various Marxist-based, or N.Y. Times promoted, anti-American history courses. The real history is not propaganda from either side—it is based on objective observation, and the simple fact that a rag-tag band of colonial volunteers was molded into a legitimate fighting force speaks volumes of truth about heroism arising in times of adversity. In my previous article that touched on General George Washington’s bold turn in mid-winter, I could only summarize how difficult the circumstances were for the six-month-old baby of American Independence. Americans today assume a lot about the history they truly do not know.
The birth of the United States came with great pains, great personal sacrifice, and much mutual suffering. The real history of the “army” that the Continental Congress formally adopted in June of 1775, did not resemble a genuine army because they were simply a volunteer force: farmers and farmhands, clerks, merchants and shop-keepers, sailors, dockworkers, doctors, and teachers. John Adams addressed the delegates of the Second Continental Congress to convey the appeal of the Massachusetts Provincial Congress to avoid a disaster should the British troops manage to break out of Boston and “spread desolation as far as they could go” against anyone who got in their way.
The reality is that General Washington continued the siege of Boston that the volunteers had initiated after the skirmishes in Lexington and Concord. However, a year later, Royal British troops and Hessian mercenaries did “spread desolation as far as they could go” after they crushed the Continental Army at Fort Lee and Fort Washington in New York. The colonists suffered devastating losses. The better trained, more disciplined, totally equipped, superior British forces then proceeded to chase General Washington out of New York, across New Jersey, and to Pennsylvania before they decided to hunker down for the winter just miles from Philadelphia. It had the appearance of a very dark winter for the cause of Independence at the end of 1776…
Who Are We Now?

Every great cause begins as a movement, becomes a business, and eventually degenerates into a racket. – Eric Hoffer
Eric Hoffer had it right about great movements but he need not have limited the idea only to great movements. There is a movement afoot in America today that has been a Racket from its very inception. This movement has declared itself to be in opposition to greatness. It has slandered greatness, calling it racism, white-supremacy, xenophobia, and theft. It is a movement cloaked in mystery. It has intentionally hidden its real meaning from the world. The Democrat party is at the center of that cloud of mystery. The Obama campaign characterized it as “Hope and Change.” Hope for what, and Change to what were never specified. Hillary was too specific in the “I’m With Her” slogan. The Biden campaign called it “Build Back Better” the alliteration of nothingness. In any case, the Democrat Party has demanded that we believe that they are “Who We Are.”
As it turns out, all this movement needs do to smear and destroy anyone who opposes its “progress,” is to say “That’s not who we are.” That insidious non-sequitur has been used to compel huge numbers of people to at least pretend to believe that some very normal and reasonable beliefs that were universally accepted only years of months ago are not just wrong but outside the pale of acceptable humane ideation- “not who we are.” Here is a partial list of those ideas…
When a truly horrific crime occurs, like an RV blowing up in a major US city such as Nashville, the FBI is instantly on the case. In a few hours they’ve rushed in and reviewed video footage, interviewed witnesses, and possibly identified a body. They’ve analyzed recordings of the fifteen-minute warning tape, and interviewed scores of people who were in the area in the hours leading up to the bombing.
So what the hell is going on with the biggest crime in American history – the stealing of a Federal election? Evidence has been handed to the FBI on a silver platter; video footage of poll watchers being kicked out of counting stations and more footage of Democrats pulling out suitcases full of fake votes and counting the same stacks multiple times. Irrefutable evidence is staring them in the face; hundreds, if not thousands, of sworn affidavits describing all manner of voting fraud – fake ballots being unloaded from trucks in the dead of night inside garbage cans, paper bags and cardboard boxes; the list goes on and on.
The FBI can investigate criminal conspiracies using wiretaps and sophisticated surveillance. They use financial analyses to ferret out crime syndicates and uncover terrorist organizations. They can analyze computer systems and data to solve the most complicated cases. So why is the best crime-fighting organization in the world absolutely silent?
The Lockdown Revolt: 4 Things You Should Know About Why It’s Growing
Across America, a new revolt is growing against unjustified lockdowns – not backed by science or data, but by politicians and bureaucrats’ opinions and ideologies. Pastors are protesting and opening their churches. Business owners are protesting and staying open “illegally.” People tired of the coercion and lies by politicians are protesting. Here are 4 things you should know:
37,198 doctors and 12,512 medical and public health professors have bravely, publicly come out against the new lockdowns.
Why? Because they do more harm than good…and don’t work.
In Los Angeles, the restaurants went to court. The state could not give one statistic to justify locking down restaurants. They admitted it wasn’t based on science or fact…just their subjective belief people should be forced to stay at home. The judge said: “Although not widely publicized, the evidence shows that the pandemic is not so overwhelming that the public should live in fear.”
What the media and scientific professionals against the lockdowns are saying…
With An Unveiled Face (part I)
by Jennifer McAlister – 12/5/2020
Have you ever noticed that when you fill your gas tank up, it seems you can drive a long way before the needle gets below the full line but as soon as it gets to the quarter tank mark it seems to evaporate ten times faster? Jesus told us that as we get closer to the last days that deception, wars, earthquakes, famines and persecution would enfold like birth pangs. Like contractions when a woman is in labor the pains grow stronger and closer together. I think we can all agree that the year 2020 feels like we are at the quarter tank mark with one pain after another with little time to recover in between.
During hard times, people should unite and grow stronger. Unfortunately, the exact opposite has happened; the world has never been so divided and the love of many has grown cold. This is a very dangerous place to be since a house divided cannot stand (Mark 3:25). Yes, division is dangerous but even worse is disregarding Biblical principles. The Bible says, woe to the those who call good evil and evil good (Isaiah 5:20). We are living in a time where Satan doesn’t have to disguise himself anymore because his agenda is now openly celebrated and promoted! If you disagree with what the world endorses, you are labeled as intolerant, uncaring and judgmental. No one is allowed to have an opinion that contradicts what the masses promote.
