CSN Newsletter – 12/8/20 – Battling for the Soul of America

CSN Newsletter – 12/8/20 – Battling for the Soul of America

From Our Founder…

Last Thursday, CSN news announced that the great economist and educator Walter E. Williams had passed away; and before we go too far today, I want to remind readers to pray for Rudy Gulianni, who was diagnosed with COVID last Friday. In our limited view, bad things seem to happen to good people. But, God is capable of turning all things to good for those with genuine and sincere faith. Those without it, need a bit of help from those who do.

Having expressed that, it is important to continue the battle for the soul of America. It  proceeds – and the enemies of the Republic have little mercy for those who oppose their collectivist will. And, make no mistake – it is a very real war – and casualties from varying causes will occur the longer the battles rage. Already, patriots have died at the hands of those who hate the Republic: an OAN video from today reminds us of this. The “civil” war we are engaged in may not be fought with weapons and bayonets, bullets, or bombs, but there is a serious fight that has intensified over our values, principles and ideals woven within the fabric of the Republic. Truth, honesty, conscientiousness and perseverance are a few of the weapons in the “arsenal” of those who love the Republic.

And brave patriots are stepping up! Common “ordinary” citizens are stepping up to give testimony to their personal witness of corruption and fraudulent activities, on what was historically known as our national “Election Day.” This is critical — it is still our country, and “We the People” standing up and speaking out is critical to sustained retention of the Republic. Citizens need to decide what they truly value in this time, re-affirm what truths they hold on to, and do whatever they possibly can to cling to those truths. It is that serious in this time, and it is very much the time former President Reagan referred to in his famous speech “A Time for Choosing,” which I and many others have written about as a point of reference.

It is definitely a time for choosing for some of the specific judges who have to decide about the corruption cases of election fraud coming before them in the battleground states. True colors begin to shine clearly in times of adversity – even among those who could be considered “sunshine patriots.” The battle is squarely now in the arena of the law, and it appears what I predicted would happen just after the election when I wrote: “Additionally, in spite of the wisdom of settling election law cases before the unravelling of election law, the Supreme Court remained silent. Now, the Justices will be forced into taking action regarding the mess that exists right now.”

With respect to articles, today I submit a reflection on the attack upon Pearl Harbor in light of subsequent attacks upon America. I have taught for years that the United States would not have been born if the founding patriots would have fought the battles in the War for Independence, if they also would have had to fight the Civil War simultaneously. My question today is: “whether America is fighting a “civil” Civil War, and at the same time being insidiously attacked by its most formidable international enemy.” I will have a follow-up article to this submitted to Canada Free Press later this week.

A. Dru Kristenev offers an article that takes a hard look at the coup against the nation as it has thus far unfolded. She makes the point that “This battle has never been about Donald Trump’s nature or capability to serve in the White House though that mantra has been invoked by media and politically motivated characters across the fruited plain. President Trump is the current catalyst for the final assault against the Constitution.”

We also have a contribution from our allies, over at Camp Constitution, that provided us an article from Mark Affeck, Camp Constitution’s newspaper editor, who wrote a deeply informative article on electing a POTUS.

Writer Ray DiLorenzo calmly examines driving off the cliff with a Biden presidency. His perception is not a positive one, but it is a realistic one. As a former history instructor, I can say the man understands U.S. history. It is worth the read – here’s an excerpt:

Since the War Between the States, Democrat leaders, at one time or another, have retained their memory of that conflict and have searched for ways to take power and hold onto it indefinitely. Wilson’s effort to re-segregate society and FDR’s four terms, and his attempt at packing the Supreme Court attest to that effort. They no longer want to win elections, they now insist upon it. There is no longer any pretense of being amiable. They want nothing to stop their pursuit, and so far in 2020, nothing has. They have found allies to that end in the dark places of globalist cabals, in addition to foreign nations that seek our demise.

Our final entry today is a reproduction of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s speech to Congress on December 8. 1941. It is known as his “Day of Infamy” speech, and I refer to it in my recent article. It helps top put things in historical perspective to know more clearly how we got to this point in the now.

Finally, we recommend all the videos today as they each have a unique perspective and spirit behind them, which helps folks get a better handle on “the now” we live in.

Reflections on the Attack upon Pearl Harbor and Current Attacks on America

By Dennis Jamison —December 7, 2020

On December 7, American citizens remembered the “Day of Infamy” as the attack in December of 1941 that shocked America and the world. The bombing of the United States’ naval base at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii was an incredibly dark day in the history of the United States. Such a sneak attack perpetrated by the Japanese Imperial government against the U.S. is recognized as one of the most successful surprise attacks in military history. Japan’s extremely belligerent, empire-building government had attacked the U.S. stronghold on the westernmost frontier, and it turned into a tragedy with the successful killing of over 2,400 men and boys and the crippling of U.S. Navy vessels that were specifically targeted for destruction.

Although this day is considered a day of remembrance of this tragedy, Americans should continue to take time to remember the attack on Pearl Harbor, not to evoke hatred or ill-will toward the Japanese people, but remembrance should stimulate Americans to develop a more substantial understanding of its root cause. Remembrance of this insidious attack, especially in light of current events within the nation, as well as world tensions and international events, should illuminate the reality that unrestrained government power was the original cause of such an attack. It is critical to maintain a clear historical perspective on this atrocity, especially within the perspective of current atrocities within the United States.

While many Americans are familiar with some of the history of the day of the attack, many more are not familiar with the U.S. history related to this event…

It’s never been about Trump; It’s always been about first trashing then crashing America

By A. Dru Kristenev —December 5, 2020

EVERY legislator capitulating to censored press reports and advising President Trump to accept compromised election results (despite concrete lawsuits pending in six states) is complicit in the attempted coup. That includes democrat, republican, independent or other politically allied individual holding office, or standing in the wings to take or influence office.

Demonstrable evidence of voter fraud in more than half the states signals the true nature of the fight to save our compound constitutional republic.

This battle has never been about Donald Trump’s nature or capability to serve in the White House though that mantra has been invoked by media and politically motivated characters across the fruited plain. President Trump is the current catalyst for the final assault against the Constitution. As the representative for independent-thinking Americans, who are the majority, his alternating flamboyant and bombastic public persona is being used to inflame hate-filled rhetoric that has translated into urban violence and acceptance of election manipulation to overthrow the republic…

Electing a President

by Mark Affeck

If we hope to correct the obvious fraud and corruption which has occurred in the recent general elections it is important to separate the presidential election results from the remainder of the races. There are deadlines that the media will remind the people about and they will argue that those dates are in stone. This is debatable. The remainder of the races can be settled independently of the presidential race. The US Constitution is key to determining the president and we must rely upon it in order to have confidence that our next president is duly elected. Article II tells us what role the state legislature plays and what role the Congress plays. Note: no other bodies have a role. Not the media, not the Courts…

Driving Over The Cliff

By Ray DiLorenzo –December 5, 2020

If Biden should win the White House, we could be dangerously close to the unthinkable…financial and political collapse, with the probability of Civil War to follow. Democrats would assume executive power in a nation as divided as it ever has been in our history. They will nevertheless take a road that could see the auctioning of America and our end…a drive over the cliff, with Democrats and globalists at the wheel.

Biden is a globalist, a man mentally impaired, feeble, but easy to control. He has few core values, unbothered by his political profiteering, an intelligence risk, a sexual predator vulnerable to blackmail. Harris is a committed socialist. She sees laws, political power, and men as a means to get elected, and pursue an agenda.

“A date which will live in infamy”

“Mr. Vice President, Mr. Speaker, Members of the Senate, and of the House of Representatives:

Yesterday, December 7th, 1941—a date which will live in infamy—the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan.

The United States was at peace with that nation and, at the solicitation of Japan, was still in conversation with its government and its emperor looking toward the maintenance of peace in the Pacific.

Indeed, one hour after Japanese air squadrons had commenced bombing in the American island of Oahu, the Japanese ambassador to the United States and his colleague delivered to our Secretary of State a formal reply to a recent American message. And while this reply stated that it seemed useless to continue the existing diplomatic negotiations, it contained no threat or hint of war or of armed attack…
