Dennis has put me in charge of the Founder’s Message this week, so here goes.
Is it coincidence or is it obvious that all of our articles today detail attacks on America and our way of life? Everywhere you look there is another assault on our freedoms. Jack Gleason starts off with “Why the Silent Majority Is Turning Angry,” and explains how almost every one of our rights under the Constitution is being chipped away by the new Left Regime.
In “Republic Under Attack,“ Bonnie Parsley focuses on Critical Race Theory being used as a tool by the Left to take over the minds of our college students and pressure corporate America into more and more concessions in order to avoid unfounded charges of racism.
Jim Bratten agrees and points out in “Racism Pandemic” that the entire playbook of the Biden gang is to cry “RACISM!” in every aspect of American life, to the point of absolute absurdity.
And Stephanie Mann writes in “City Leaders MUST Rethink ‘Defund Police!’” tells of a California town that solved a crime wave by schools, families and neighborhood meetings. In two and a half years they dropped crime by 48%, without a police department.
I finish with an article of my choosing from DefCon News. In “Pelosi’s Clownshow January 6 Committee Starts Off With Some Major Lies” they point out that the Democrats in Congress are attacking a fundamental aspect of our American way of life, equal justice under the law. They are holding their sham hearings about the January 6th “Insurgence” and DefCon News quickly debunks their talking points that “seven people died.”
Finally, Dennis asked me to bring this video from 1964 to your attention. “A Time for Choosing” by Ronald Reagan – 10/27/1964. Dennis says “it is critical to bring people to this understanding… It contains incredible truth!” He brought this up because Secretary of State Mike Pompeo spoke great truth as well at the Reagan Library.
Americans are an easygoing lot. We let bygones be bygones. If crazy Uncle Bob wants to rattle on at Thanksgiving dinner about global warming in the middle of the coldest winter in twenty years, we politely ask for more cranberry sauce. We have been known as “the silent majority.” We vote pretty often, but we don’t donate to politicians or volunteer on campaigns. And we certainly don’t protest at City Hall.
But this good nature is predicated on our government playing by the rules and staying out of our lives. (Watch the fun when someone from the government knocks on our door and offers to help.) We’re old enough to have been taught about the Constitution and the Bill of Rights in school, and we know that without fair and consistent rules, a successful society can’t exist.
So when we see a systematic assault on our American rights that has a major impact on our daily lives, we start to wake up. And when it continues, we start to get angry…
The United States of America is being strangled by divisive attacks on its Founders, on its Constitution and its culture. The Leftists in our universities, in our public schools, in our media and in our Congress are attacking our Republic with charges of racism and xenophobia. Those who use Critical Race Theory to accuse white people of the poverty and crime in black communities ignore all the efforts we have made to overcome racism. More than 300,000 Union soldiers died in battle during the Civil War to end slavery. Democrats fought to continue slavery while Republicans fought to end it.
Blacks have been lied to by Democrats who have used racism to gain power. They have shamefully pretended to be saviors to black and brown people while hiding their history of abuse toward these communities. Democrats have been primarily responsible for keeping blacks in big city ghettos where they have no means of escape. Democrats, under President Lyndon Johnson, started giving welfare to mothers with children. This money was conditioned on the fact that there was no father in the home. This rule resulted in fathers leaving their families. Welfare payments were increased every time a child was added to the home. After many years of families with no fathers, young boys began joining gangs where they fought for territory with other gangs.
As reported in The Washington Examiner, the Biden Regime finds racism everywhere. Said Pete Buttigieg, Biden’s transportation secretary, “There is racism physically built into some of our highways.”
Race is the Biden Regime’s center point in the intersectionality of identity politics. It even touches student debt, as tweeted by Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), member in good standing of AOC’s radical Squad: “You can’t be anti-racist if you’re anti-student debt cancellation.” Biden even “race-normed” a recent COVID relief bill; black farmers got 120 percent of loan value forgiven or repaid, but white farmers received no relief. This racial sleight-of-hand reparation in the bill was fortunately struck down as unconstitutional. But the main strategy of the Biden Regime’s plan to divide the American population by race is to make “whiteness” automatically racist … from birth.
As explained by Damon Young, in his piece Whiteness Is a Pandemic on Yahoo’s website, “Whiteness is a public health crisis. It shortens life expectancies, it pollutes air, it constricts equilibrium, it devastates forests, it melts ice caps, it sparks (and funds) wars, it flattens dialects, it infests consciousness, and it kills people…” Such is the insanity of the Democrat Marxists – create racial animosity and hatred, but only for whites … and only certain whites…
The national media’s message is that the government can solve all problems. Without debate or discussion, many people assume it can “fix” social issues, including family and neighborhood safety. However, if a democracy is to survive, citizens must be involved to keep the government from assuming too much power.
Police departments have military-style organizational structures with chiefs, captains, lieutenants and officers. The national average indicates there are fewer than two officers for every 1,000 citizens. Many people see police departments as big and powerful and citizens as weak and helpless. But, the opposite is true. Government is expensive and can breed corruption. We the people are powerful if we unite and work together.
For example, one California community had a crime wave and no local police department. The unincorporated region had only two sheriffs’ deputies to protect 17,000 residents. Ten citizens were appointed by the county representative to develop a program to help stop crime. The committee’s plan was to hire two sergeant detectives to work with residents to solve and arrest burglars and other criminals. The citizen group then educated neighbors about their role in stopping crime. Neighborhood meetings helped families get acquainted and work together to keep each other safe.
Area residents soon learned the biggest crime problems were…
Pelosi’s Clownshow January 6 Committee Starts Off With Some Major Lies
Nancy Pelosi put together a select committee to transform the mild protests at the Capitol on January 6 into the worst thing that has ever happened to democracy. In order to achieve this she needs some serious B***S*** and so as the committee began hearing on Tuesday, she backed up the manure truck to the House chamber.
Committee committee Chairman Bennie Thompson (a democrat) kicked off the hearings by claiming, “Our only charge is to follow the facts where they lead.”
Followed by, “We know seven people lost their lives.”
Really? They know that? The only person to actually die inside the Capitol on January 6 was Ashli Babbitt, who was shot to death by a Capitol Police officer. Two others died outside of heart attacks and one person, also outside, died of a drug overdose. Who are the 3 other people democrats “know” died in the Capitol?
This was followed up by testimony from Capitol Police officer Harry Dunn…
Podcast – From Dinesh D’Souza: CRIME AND THE DEMOCRATS – 7/29/21 – In this episode, Dinesh tracks the crime waves sweeping Democrat-run cities, and raises the troubling question: do Democrats want social breakdown? Yes, John Roberts might be chief justice, but Dinesh shows why it’s now Clarence Thomas’ Supreme Court. Dinesh calls for defunding the Capital Police after their brazen lies about January 6th.
American Minute by William J. Federer – American Minute for July 29 – Alexis de Tocqueville, a French social philosopher, traveled throughout the US in 1831. He wrote Democracy in America, a comprehensive analysis between character and society in America. He was born this day in 1805.
