CSN Newsletter 9/10/19 Life Under Socialist/Democrat Rule
From Our Founder…
9/10/19 – This past week, in the wake of the Labor Day holiday can be taken as a new beginning of sorts across America as people put their summer experiences behind them. However, the one article I offered last week was the violent history behind Labor Day which came out of Chicago. It is eerie that one of the articles we offer this week is about serious violence that erupted in Chicago over the Labor Day weekend. It is one of the articles offered by Def-Con News, and it is definitely enlightening. The irony is that the Democrats have primarily controlled Chicago since the turn of the twentieth century. Yet, the current Democrat mayor just blamed the Republicans for the horror of the violence. As I mentioned last week “Americans should know their history because as George Santayana has predicted: ‘Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.’” It would be incredible if people in Chicago would seriously examine their state history in order to drain their local swamp.
We also offer a second article contributed from Def-Con News that zeroes in on Nancy Pelosi. As Congress returns from their holiday break, Pelosi will be leading the charge for impeachment of President Trump, which may be a tough sell. But the Def-Con article pinpoints a possible new slogan for the Democrats for 2020 if impeachment falls flat.
Our regular lineup of our network writer’s offers articles from three teachers.
Bonnie Parsley, a former California teacher writes about school kids coming back to classrooms in California where they will be learning sexual indoctrination, which she explains that “some of the materials they will be teaching are what most people would consider pornographic.”
Dawn Hoagland, a New York teacher, tackles how the educational system is also indoctrinating young people towards the “ideals” of socialism, and unravels the current false perception about Nazis in relation to socialism.
Michael Lewinski, a former teacher from Indiana, revisits Ben Franklin’s promotion of genuine virtues as applied to today’s issues. He states that “if all Americans lived by these virtues, we would have a wonderful place to live in where we practiced the Christian value of doing unto others as you would have others do unto you.”
Additionally, the Citizen Sentinels Network newsletter features links to relevant articles that have surfaced in the news that are outside of the scope of our network of writers. One issue I have been writing about recently is the recall effort of Gov. Polis in Colorado. Apparently, it failed, but there is more to the story than that covered by the link to the local news we feature. There are some other links to relevant articles readers may want to investigate. These links to the recommended articles will be featured at the end of this message.
CSN additionally provides links to relevant articles that have surfaced in the news that are outside of the scope of our network of writers. We offer some recommended links to articles that we consider provocative and relevant weekly news and views. Below we offer this weeks aggregate of links to pertinent articles.
Our Video Views feature videos this week focus on impeachment and Maine’s radical gun law.
As the founder of the Citizen Sentinels Network, I hope that the articles we provide, without ads and other obnoxious distractions, can offer provocative and relevant weekly news and views. If you have relevant or serious feedback, please submit it. We appreciate your viewpoint as well.
Please share the articles of the writers whose perspectives you appreciate. Spread them around and share the articles with those whom you care about. United “We the People” Stand!
The summer recess has turned up the heat on congressional Democrats to get on board the Trump impeachment push.
At town hall meetings across the country this August, rank-and-file Democrats returning to their home districts have faced intense pressure from left-wing activists demanding they support efforts to impeach President Trump when they return to Washington, D.C.
From the Western Journal on Maines Permitless Carry Laws:
One of the most promising examples of this is the situation in Maine, which was recently named the safest state in the union by U.S. News and World Report.
Chicago Mayor Blames Republicans and Lack of Gun Control for Deadly Labor Day Weekend
Courtesy of Def-Con New
Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot won election as Chicago’s Mayor earlier this year. Early into her term, she came right out and blamed the Chicago Police Department for the Windy City’s persistent, pervasive violence problem.
Today, after a summer of violence that left 167 murdered and almost 900 maimed, Lightfoot now has a new target to blame for the city’s years-long problems with gunfire and violent crime – Republicans.
Chicago last had a Republican mayor 88 years ago in 1931. The Democrat machine runs every facet of life in Chicago. But Mayor Lightfoot points the finger of blame-shifting at Republicans for the rampant crime in her city.
This after Texas Senator Ted Cruz tweeted a message that pointed to a Breitbart story about the wholly unsurprising but still horrific body count from just the first half of Labor Day weekend.
Nancy Pelosi Tells Democrats to ‘Throw a Punch for the Children’
Courtesy of DefCon News
Disgraced former AG Eric Holder told democrats to kick Republicans, but House Speaker Nancy Pelosi thinks punching them would be a better idea. If this seems like a call for violence against political opponents, don’t worry, Pelosi is a Liberal and nothing they do is considered wrong. Besides, she is telling the Democrats to punch Republicans for the children, so it’s extra-okay.
At the DNC summer meeting, Speaker Nancy Pelosi predicts 2020 will be a “tough election.”
“You have to be ready to take a punch,” she says. “And therefore, you have to be ready to throw a punch — for the children.”
As the DNC wrapped up their summer meetings, Pelosi delivered what I think was supposed to be a pep talk:
“This is going to be a tough election because for [Republicans] it’s about money. They’ll put up any amount of money to protect their investment of degrading the environment, the rest, gun and all that,” said Pelosi.
Boy, does she have Republicans pegged or what? How did she know the GOP will put up any amount of money to degrade gun? Watch the video, those were her exact words.
“So, you have to be ready to take a punch. You gotta be ready to take a punch and therefore, you have to be ready to throw a punch, for the children. Throw a punch for the children,” commanded Pelosi.
I think Pelosi just stumbled upon the DNC’s 2020 slogan: “Throw a punch for the children.”
Public School Failure
By Bonnie M. Parsley
As students are returning to school this fall, we expect them to learn all the things that will lead them to a successful life. We want them to be able to read, to write intelligently, to be able to work math problems and to have a grounding in science. We also expect them to understand American history, world history and current events. We do not want them indoctrinated with social justice ideology or political correctness.
As a former teacher, I am appalled at what is being taught in our public schools today, especially those in California. While our kids are falling behind in math, science and reading, school districts are being required to implement programs that I believe will cause harm to our children. There is a new sex-ed program being introduced into California schools this fall that will lead to sexual experimentation, promiscuity and disease in our young people.
This new program will cause much confusion and psychological damage to students in middle school and high school. A recent video put out by Jeremiah Films shows a representative from Cardea Services teaching educators how to cut parents out of knowing what is going on with their children. It also reveals a secret recording of a meeting where these people instruct educators how they can hide the fact that they are taking girls out of school to obtain an abortion.
Some of the materials they will be teaching are what most people would consider pornographic. They will also be explaining (encouraging) every kind of sexual activity that has traditionally been viewed as deviant. You can watch this video on your computer here:
Public schools today are failing our children. According to The Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), the most recent results from 2015 placed the U.S. 38th out of 71 countries in math and 24th in science. Reading scores are not much better. Just under 20% of high school grads haven’t developed basic reading proficiency by the time they graduate.
We warned our young people about Hitler, but what do they know about Marx?
By Dawn Hoagland
The name of Hitler is being bandied about in the streets a lot these days. It is being directed at Donald Trump and his supporters routinely. What does Hitler have to do with Donald Trump? Hitler was a fascist who committed genocide against the Jewish people as well as the Roma (gypsies.)
Does Donald Trump hate Jews? His daughter Ivanka married a Jewish man, converted to Judaism and is raising Donald’s grandchildren in the Jewish tradition. Trump loves Israel and has given Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel his solid support. Trump has never expressed any hatred for the Jews.
Hitler wanted to build up a master race of “Aryan” people he believed to be of superior purity and strength. Hitler was invading other countries because he wanted to rule the world. Trump doesn’t have any plans of developing a master race or ruling the world. Hitler hated communists and kicked them out of his country. Trump is deporting criminals not communists.
Hitler kicked the Communists out of Germany – they came to America
People who were steeped in Karl Marx’s philosophy came to America from Germany when the Nazis kicked them out. They insinuated themselves into the fabric of American life, as professors, artists, actors and writers. It was these writers who were invited to Columbia University and published there that had the greatest influence on America.
Herbert Marcuse wrote Philosophy andCritical Theory. The theory was simple: criticize every pillar of Western culture —Christianity, family, common law and especially freedom of speech. The hope was that these pillars would crumble under pressure, leaving a void that communism could fill.
So why are our young people waving communist flags and calling Trump supporters Hitler? They are ignorant on two counts. They don’t know enough about Hitler to know that Trump is nothing like him. They don’t know enough about communism to know that Karl Marx’s ideas have led to millions of deaths at the hands of totalitarian leaders.
Marx wanted workers to rebel against capitalism
In the middle of the 19th century, Karl Marx developed his ideas. He thought the old European feudal system, in which only a few people owned everything and the poor did all the work, had simply been replaced by the bourgeoisie capitalist system in which the rich owned businesses and exploited the proletariat which still did all the work.
Marx believed there should be a rebellion of exploited workers against the greedy capitalist company owners. He thought abolishing private property and the ability to inherit wealth would end the problem of a few rich people owning everything, while most people worked themselves to death and owned nothing.
In 1848, Marx published The Communist Manifesto. Marx wrote, “Communists openly declare that their ends can be attained only by the forcible overthrow of all existing social conditions…The proletarians have nothing to lose but their chains…Working men of all countries, unite!” He thought workers all around the world would unite against their oppressive bosses and rise up to create a communist utopia.
Affirming Your Values
By Michael J. Lewinski 08/26/19
“…[T]he solution to the gun violence plaguing our nation will be found in a willingness to recognize, as did the Founders, that as a people we are dependent upon and accountable to an omniscient God. This observation was made by Tony Perkins. He went on to say, “It is only from such an understanding that morality and public virtue become commonplace, which is essential for freedom.”
The virtues which he was talking about are the virtues by which Ben Franklin lived. They were: temperance, silence, order, resolution, frugality, industry, sincerity, justice, moderation, cleanliness, tranquility, chastity and humility.
This list of virtues would be more useful if applied to gun violence. Temperance, silence — speak not what may benefit others or yourself; avoid trifling conversations. Order — let all things have their places; let each part of your business have its time. Resolution — resolve to perform what you ought; perform without fail what you resolve. Frugality — make no expense but do good to others or yourself, i.e., waste nothing. Industry — lose no time; always be employed in something useful; cut off all unnecessary actions. Sincerity — use no hurtful deceit; think innocently and justly, and, if you speak, speak accordingly. Justice — wrong no one by causing injuries or omitting the benefits that are your duty. Moderation — avoid extremes; forbear resenting injuries so much as you think they deserve. Cleanliness — tolerate no uncleanliness in body, clothes or habitation. Tranquility — be not disturbed at trifles or accidents common or unavoidable. Chastity — rarely use venery but for health or offspring, never to dullness, weakness or the injury of your own or another’s peace or reputation. Humility — imitate Jesus or Socrates.
