CSN Palm Sunday/Passover Edition Messages – 3/28/2021

Dear CSN newsletter readers,

The Citizen Sentinels Network has maintained a project, originally deemed the David Project, since 2018. We are in our third year of existence in a hostile political environment! For those readers of faith, the Messages of Light originated as a genuine inspiration from our Heavenly Father. It was initiated to bring Light into the dark in this time. And especially at this time in our nation and in the world, there is clear and present danger that requires the faithful to hold boldly and securely onto the foundations that are rooted in faith.

If you consider the messages in our Sunday edition relevant or meaningful and know others who might value them as well, consider yourself a Light mail messenger and please pass this newsletter on to those whom you feel could welcome it. Or simply, please receive it yourselves.

Jesus Predicts His Betrayal

I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me. Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.” Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spake. Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved. Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom he spake. He then lying on Jesus’ breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it?

Jesus answeredHe it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, ‘That thou doest, do quickly.’  Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto him. For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor. He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night.

Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, ‘Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him. If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him.  Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you. A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”          John 13:18-35      (KJV)

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.   1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (KJV)   MUSEUM ART PRINT Creation of Man Michelangelo Buonarotti | eBay

The Jewish tradition of remembering and honoring the Passover started on Saturday and will continue until Easter Sunday. The tradition is actually meant to honor God who helped in the process of freeing the Hebrew people from the tyranny of the Pharaoh and oppression under the Egyptian people. The Easter celebration of those in the Christian faith is also an intent to honor God who sent His son to free the Hebrew people and the world (‘For God so loved the world that He gave his only son…”). The two traditions are forever connected in history through Jesus of Nazareth, who was Jewish his entire life. Yet, although these two religious traditions are both considered the most sacred of holidays in Judaism and Christianity respectively, they have not traditionally been celebrated in any substantial manner through which an attempt at genuine unity could be achieved. So, what does that say about the world? Is there unity and peace in the world? What about unity in just the United States? There is a point here.

The intense and tragic reality that is being evidenced in America is that adherents to both of these two world religions are being tormented, persecuted, and oppressed. And in some cases, the very “government of the people,” at least in the name of the people, has become increasingly hostile to any expression of religion. This has become much more apparent in  the recent years — especially under the guise of protecting the population from the timely COVID pandemic. Now, Americans, and the world’s population lives in the shadow of fear, much like the world living under the dark cloud of fear of nuclear war after World War II. The cloud still lingers, but it is not as pervasive or as imminent as it was in previous decades. The fear of COVID, or any other strains of biologically manipulated strains of death is no less pervasive in this time.

If intelligent or sensitive people can grasp this, it is then possible to more fully appreciate the time of the Passover for the Hebrew people. They were seeing with their own eyes a terrible number of things happening in their time in their land. Moses was the lightning rod of God at that time. He was operating as an agent of Heavenly Father in the midst of that moment in time. Why Moses? Because Moses took upon himself the Will of God to free the Hebrew people, this incredible mission for the Hebrew people to be released from bondage could be achieved in a

substantial manner — not just as a dream, as a hope, as a mental construct. The Hebrew people     were able to escape into freedom and create a nation where they could worship God in the faith that they had come to accept.

Christianity’s substantial effort, built upon the Messiah had experienced the establishment of the Christian religion in dominion over nations since the days in which the Emperor of Rome made a decree that the Roman Empire would accept Christianity as the “state religion.” But, it was not God’s Will; it was man’s will that created a dominion over the populations in the Empire at the time and in the Holy Roman Empire 400 years later. Yet, in the 1700s, God helped directly in the creation of the United States of America. The documentation of personal testimony is too vast for the Progressive-Revisionist historians to imply that this was not so. However, 400 years after the coming of the Pilgrims to this new continent to glorify God, America, the fruit of their courage and persistence, is being shaken to our foundations. For people not to feel it, there must be real numbness in their souls.

Today’s message comes from one who has been wrestling with this “shaking” and turbulence in America, and she is a young ‘un — a millennial with genuine sensitivity to what is happening to our nation in such a time as this. Rachel Toland is a young mother of two beautiful children and the wife of a husband wise beyond his years. They created Remnant Rising, a spiritual mission to insert faith into our daily lives. Her message is an open and transparent look at what she is experiencing and the issues she is considering as they unfold in America today. Her message is one in which many people of faith may relate to as we all see the same things unfolding before us in real-time. Rachel and Spencer Toland are associated with the Messianic movement. This is a movement of people who appreciate the value of the Hebrew roots, yet view Jesus as the Messiah that came to the Hebrews to fulfill the prophecies. It is a movement of people that does appreciate the value of Passover and the linkage to the Christ. Read Rachel Toldand’s words.

In addition to her message today, we have nine videos. We have a bunch of music videos that are related to the messages overall. One of the videos is from Dutch Sheets explaining that we are (yes us) are the “conduits of His power.” We are also offering an entire Palm Sunday service with Pastor Jack Hibbs. His message begins from around the 19:50 minutes remaining mark. We are including one of Dennis Prager’s Fireside chats because he deals with the current Left- oriented mantra of “Asian hatred.” As always, his words are enlightening. We have also included a conversation between Joel Rosenberg and Jason Yates of  MyFaithVotes. Rosenberg deals with the contemporary issues of the Middle East.

We also have five articles in our “Recommended Reading” section. One of them is an article I wrote a year ago at the time of Passover. It offers perspective on the times we are living in. We also offer an additional music video of the “Let Us Worship” tour of Sean Feucht (pronounced “Foyt”) in our “Around the Republic” section because he is planning to keep up revival in the dark winter. Spring is on its way! Check out the entire section as we have articles on significant court cases across the nation.

These words and images are being freely offered and have been sent since 2018 as part of the David Project’s “Messages of Light.” However, the David Project has ‘evolved’ into the Light Wing Mission, which is a further development and extension of the David Project. But, over the course of time, much like a seed grows into the shoot of a plant, and then grows into a tree that bears fruit, Heavenly Father revealed that the Light Wing Mission was always the intended fruit of the David Project. I am grateful for His trust to be an instrument of such a mission. Please do continue to receive our messages as a gift from those who care. They are only words that are being offered, freely, but some contain a deep message of faith, or a deeper expression of heart that readers can hopefully receive into their lives. As it was written: “Where there is no vision,  the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”    Proverbs 29:18 – (KJV)

May we truly seek His face, but look deeper — to truly seek His Mind and His Heart, and seek to know His Will. We are all His children, and we all need to receive our Heavenly Father’s guidance as well as His judgment, and accept what He believes we need and deserve, not to determine that for Him. May we truly return our gratitude and love to Him, and to share His love with our brothers and sisters, as we are all children of God.

The Battle for Reality: The Ground is Fertile for a Miracle!

by Rachel Toland

Reality? Is that word the same as truth? And is all truth equal? Is it the same as the One we know as The Truth, Yeshua, who is the Way, the Truth and the Life? Now we are coming up on Passover. A time of the impossible becoming reality. A time where Jesus hung on a tree and yet He was to be the Everlasting King. A time of opposing realities, where death is at work, but so is life. (II Cor. 4:12)

I found myself asking that question one morning as I was pondering a verse in Psalm 25. “All the paths of Yahweh are kindness and truth, to those who guard His covenant and His witnesses.”

Truth is a word that I have found myself going back to, over and over the last several months. Referring to the Holy Spirit as the Spirit of Truth, Jesus is the Truth, His Word is True and so on.

I think it’s safe to say that I believe many people want Truth right now. I don’t know about you, but as so many even question the legitimacy of the current events we see reported today, I think we are finding ourselves craving Truth now more than ever. And, it seems God may be doing this for a reason.

This reminds me of when I first moved to Florida when I was in college. I transferred from a college in Boston to a university in the heart of Florida. Talk about a drastic change. I had never been to Florida but found myself pretty discombobulated in that time of my life. The cultures of the two states were so diametrically different; it was dizzying. I had just left a prestigious school in Boston, where the culture and norm I was used to was to study, work and focus, to a school near the beach where the focus was on relationships, God and fun in the sun. Boston was dreary and cold. Florida was sunny and warm. People were much more outgoing and friendly, thus creating an environment for more relationships.

But, my type-A personality craved the work and focus of Boston, but then my heart craved relationships. I found myself in what seemed to be a parallel universe and a crossroads of values and beliefs at that time, having to choose a path and adapt to a reality and value system of that said chosen path. And, I find myself today remembering that feeling of discombobulation that is present today in 2021 and asking myself about values and what reality is Truth today.

It seems like living in parallel universes, both have truths in them, but one path has the Truth in it.

Right now, we have the Word of God, His prophecies about what is going to happen, even though everything in what we are seeing right now seems to look like the opposite, Truth is truth and cannot be changed, no matter what “reality” looks like.

I imagine this must be the tension that the prophets like Noah, Ezekiel and John the Baptist lived in. God spoke a word to them, but for a while it looked like the total opposite of what was said began happening around them. . . until the Word came through. Until, God did something totally unheard of – so unique – and did what no man thought could be done. As someone once told us so eloquently, “the ground is fertile for a miracle!”

And I believe it!

The ground is fertile for a miracle! The reality we are living in right now, this tension of seeming opposing truths, seems to be many times par for the course for how God works. Sometimes, God chooses to move when things seem completely impossible to turn around. And we know why, right?

So that no man would get the glory.

How many times do we see an ax head float or a sea part or the earth open up, swallow a few and then close again? The things that no man can do just to prove to us that God is the God of the impossible and that He isn’t far off! The thing with impossible is that it can seem far away, but the reality is that it’s the Truth and it’s nearer than we think. This seems to be a season of waiting and God is not a God who is far off! Stay in step with the Lord. Line upon line, precept upon precept. Let Him build on the Truth that He began to reveal. Stay the path of Truth.

So be encouraged and seek the Truth! Guard His covenant with you! Guard His witnesses! Shield them and He will guide you in truth and loving commitment (Psalm 25:10).

Psalm 25

To You, O יהוה, I lift up my being.

O my Elohim, in You I have put my trust; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies exult over me.

Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; Let those who are treacherous without cause be ashamed.

Show me Your ways, O יהוה; Teach me Your paths.

Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the Elohim of my deliverance; On You I wait all the day.

Remember, O יהוה, Your compassion and Your loving-commitments, For they are from everlasting.

Do not remember the sins of my youth, and my transgressions; According to Your loving-commitment remember me, For Your goodness’ sake, O יהוה.

Good and straight is יהוה; Therefore He teaches sinners in the way.

He guides the meek ones in right-ruling, And He teaches the meek ones His way.

All the paths of יהוה are loving-commitment and truth, To those who guard His covenant and His witnesses.

For Your Name’s sake, O יהוה, You shall pardon my crookedness, though it is great.

Who, then, is the man that fears יהוה? He teaches him in the way he should choose.

His life dwells in good, And his seed inherits the earth.

The secret of יהוה is with those who fear Him, And He makes His covenant known to them.

My eyes are ever toward יהוה, For He brings my feet out of the net.

Turn Your face to me, and show me favour, For I am lonely and afflicted.

The distresses of my heart have enlarged; Oh, bring me out of my distresses!

Look on my affliction and my toil, And forgive all my sins.

See how many my enemies have become; And they hate me with a violent hatred.

Oh, guard my life, and deliver me; Let me not be ashamed, for I have taken refuge in You.

Let integrity and straightness guard me, For I have waited for You.

Redeem Yisra’ěl, O Elohim, Out of all his distresses!
