The Truth Will Set You Free
As He spoke these words, many believed in Him. Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?”
Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore, if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.
Abraham’s Seed and Satan’s
“I know that you are Abraham’s descendants, but you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you. I speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have seen with your father.”
They answered and said to Him, “Abraham is our father.”
Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham. But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham did not do this. You do the deeds of your father.”
Then they said to Him, “We were not born of fornication; we have one Father—God.”
Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.” John 8:30-47 New KJV
“And the disciples came and said unto him, ‘Why speakest thou unto them in parables?’ He answered and said unto them, ‘Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Therefore, speak I to them in parables: because they seeing, see not; and hearing, they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: for this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. But, blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.’” Matthew 13:10-17 Authorized (King James) Version
On September 17th, the anniversary of the signing of the Constitution of the United States made little news in the mainstream news realms. The previous week our Sunday newsletter featured a number of entries on the remembrance of the attacks on 9/11/2001. It had been 20 years from the time of the attack and on that anniversary, it seemed as if 20 years became unravelled as our nation betrayed the trust of our own people in harm’s way, but it betrayed the trust of the world, especially those people of Afghanistan in the eye of the storm. 20 years ago, “We the People” were united in spirit as we had been visibly attacked and stunned by the “spectacular” (Osama binLaden’s description) attack upon our soil. From that time, America responded to the terrorism around the world. However, the Land of the Free is not the same today.
What happened on that day was an incredible shock to millions of Americans, but also to many millions around the world. Yet, today a different enemy is striking daily at our nation — it is the enemy within. This enemy is quite insidious and seemingly pervasive, but it is not just a single individual or one political party, or even a large segment of our misguided population wallowing in ignorance and immorality. The enemy is within each and everyone. That enemy is ourselves. It has been that way from the days of the Garden. We are the ones who God has given the will to choose between good and evil, between life and death. It is no accident of the language that when spelled backwards LIVE is turned to EVIL.
Our land was a land that has been dedicated to freedom for all, liberty and justice for all. Yet, the actions of the current Administration betray the reality of self-centeredness on steroids. Those in lack of understanding of the reality of what is transpiring in such a time as this are either totally lost in their own self-centered bubbles of artificial or ‘virtual’ reality, woefully ignorant, or willfully deceptive. Our nation is being attacked from an enemy within, one that has been lurking in the shadows of darkness for decades. Now, in the light of day, such enemies can no longer remain hidden. This is the time of the apocalypse – and for those who doubt, check the denotation of the word. Light is pouring into the cracks and crevices of an evil dominion that is itself fighting for survival. As Jason Yates wrote in his article from last week: “America needs God” and our “Freedom needs protection.” Each one of these truths requires action from those of faith.
My question last week was: “Is it not obvious to the people of faith that such a dominion our Father in Heaven spoke of in the Garden is not the same realm Jesus spoke of as he described the Kingdom of God? This week I offer the message, but I finish my message with more serious questions. I fundamentally believe that it is up to each person to resolve these questions within themselves. This is the battle within that I am referring to. It is indeed a time of choosing for all of us. Please take time to read all the way to the end. Each part of the message is important.
In our Video Views section today, there are ten videos that are equally important to help citizens get a better focus on what is truly important in such a time as this. I call attention to the video of Mario Murillo, and although I did not view the video before I wrote my article, I can say it is clear
that God is speaking through him, and he is giving messages to many people throughout the nation. Murillo’s message is similar to mine from a different direction.
There is plenty more to view and read from around the world as well as from our Around the Republic, which contains messages from seven of the United States. We pray you will continue to read and learn and take your stand to demand and exercise one’s Constitutional rights — while we still have them!

Will We Create the Culture of Truth?
By Dennis Jamison
Americans, who are just now awakening, find themselves living in a culture of corruption that up until now, had only been seen in glimpses, only seen by accident, only seen if the people truly cared to see. This is why when Jesus walked the earth, he said they seeing, see not; and hearing, they hear not, neither do they understand. It is true of this day as well. The leaders and those who do not know God have eyes, but see not, and have ears but hear not. In his day, Jesus was immersed within an evil culture of dominion under the Roman Empire. Yet, it was he who prevailed against that culture, but it required several hundred years of Christian development to fulfill it.
When Jesus was brought before Pilate: Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”
“You are a king, then!” said Pilate.
Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth, listens to me.”
“What is truth?” retorted Pilate. With this he went out again to the Jews gathered there and said, “I find no basis for a charge against him.” John 18:36-38 (NIV)
Pilate had little conceptual basis for understanding the truth of what Jesus came to bear witness to, and political leaders of today, who have little faith, cannot comprehend the truth from God. Additionally, Pilate’s question about truth, would serve as a similar question for the multitudes in this day. Unfortunately, not seeking truth, people cannot know the truth; not seeking God, people do not know God. So, the linkage to our Father in Heaven determines our capability to see and to know the truth and to know God. Yet, a very real question that needs to be asked to shed light on these critical exchanges Jesus had with the leaders of his day, is whether the religious leaders, such as the scribes and Pharisees, who argued with him over who he truly was, did in fact know the truth, or know God. In other words, the common assumption of the common people of Jesus’ day was that the religious people did know the word of God as it was written in the Old Testament. However, the exchange in John 8, indicates that Jesus revealed that the religious leaders did not know the truth or God. How could that be?
It could be more easily understood that Pilate, a secular leader, would not know the truth, and thus not know God. But, the assumption that the religious leaders, such as the scribes and Pharisees, knew the truth, or knew God, was severely challenged by Jesus. If we apply such a human phenomenon to our time, our assumptions that religious leaders should know the truth, or should have a relationship with God, may not be accurate. And if we should be able to know people by their fruits, regardless of what position or status, even we should be capable of discerning whether people abide by the ‘Good Book’ or if people have continued “in My word” and are truly Jesus’ disciples. In this day, people know what the Bible says and understand the truth within it. In this day, many people have a deep prayer relationship with their Father in Heaven. They should know the truth, and the truth has set them free. Yet, we live in this world filled with lies, evil deeds, continual crime and seemingly constant corruption. How can this be?
People of faith can discern that we do not live in God’s Kingdom. To say we do, would be a pretend reality, which would not correspond to the reality of what we witness with our eyes and our other physical senses. Today, the truth is distorted — shredded in a multitude of ways. In the United States, we are surrounded by a culture of lies, cheating, and stealing, and our “leaders,” whether religious or political, are not forthright in confronting such a culture. All the while truth is shredded on a daily basis. A person of deep conscience must wonder what God must think of all of this. But, one should not take too long to figure it out. Jesus said it clearly: “If you continue in My word, you are truly My disciples.” Is this not what God asked of Adam and Eve?Is this not what God must be asking of us? — To put into practice His word?
So, the political leaders of today from the secular world are like Pilate, and they have little clue as to what the truth is. This would be evident in those who claim to be religious, yet they are not – they do not exhibit through their fruits that they know what the truth is. Thus, they cannot be expected to help in the promotion of the truth, nor the practice of the truth. Yet, we trust them as “leaders.” And, if we place trust in our religious “leaders” to stimulate the political leaders to do the right thing for the benefit of the people, since America is intended to be a government of the people, we only need take a look around at reality to see that it may be placing way too much trust in such leaders. Truth takes a hit every minute of every day. When only a handful of common people speak up against the lies, the cheating, the theft, it says that the rest of the people as well as all the so-called leaders are complicit with the lies, the evil deeds, the continual crime and constant corruption.
Wallowing in such a world is not God’s Will. Allowing evil to run rampant as the dominant influence in our culture is not God’s Will. If America claims to be“One Nation Under God,” God must be embarrassed, even ashamed of what He is witnessing as He looks upon this nation because it is not a reflection of His dominion. And, no matter how much people pretend, it does not change the reality of what we can see, let alone what God may see, which includes a much greater viewpoint than our human perception of reality. If His Kingdom is meant to come on “Earth as it is in Heaven,” we have a long way to go – especially in America. Unfortunately, within so many spheres of society the nation has been polluted with the rampant corruption and the trampling of truth.
On Saturday, Americans should have remembered our Constitution as it was the day we honor the signing of the Constitution in 1787. In that day, brave and brilliant men hammered out the Law of the Land. Yet, today, that document is ignored, maligned, and practically shredded by the secular political leaders, and fear-filled, government-fearing religious leaders are self-muted about the God-given rights guaranteed by the Bill of Rights in the Constitution. Sadly, the old truism that “all it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing” is very applicable to all that is happening in the United States today. Not only truth is being shredded, but our precious freedoms are being trampled.
So, one prevailing question stimulates some other very serious questions:
What will the children of our Father in Heaven DO about the march of evil?
Think first about these questions which include a paraphrase of some of Jesus’ words:
“If you were children of Jesus, Christians would do the works of Jesus. But are they ignoring the works he asked us to perform as he told us the truth that he heard from God? Or, are we refusing to uphold the truth, because there is little truth within our culture – our society? Few friends of truth?Do we not truly believe in His truth because we choose rather to believe in the lies and propaganda of our precious secular culture? Do we not truly revere His truth because we have not created a culture of truth? Did we not have the freedom to do so? Ultimately, do we not choose to create a culture that reveres the truth because we prefer to wallow in the culture of lies, evil deeds, continual crime and constant corruption?
Can we not honestly seek first His Kingdom and His Righteousness? Can we not seriously create families and “tribes” of righteousness that seek to build a culture that reveres His truth and puts it into practice?
Was that not the mission of the Church? In actuality, Jesus came preaching the KIngdom, and some clever people translated that into the Church, which is today fragmented, ineffective, and focused upon self-preservation. When did Jesus tell his followers to focus on their own safe interpretation of the truth? When did Jesus tell his followers to focus on their own self-preservation? If ever there were a time for Christians to do the works of Jesus, it is in such a time as this. Waiting for “religious leaders” to give us permission to do the works of Jesus, or blaming them for not enabling us, does not add to God’s dominion, it only displaces our responsibility onto the shoulders of others. We can either take ownership of building the culture of truth, a dominion of reverence for the truth, which is truly God’s Dominion, or we allow evil to triumph and shift the blame. Is that not what happened in the Garden?
