CSN Sunday – Messages of Light – 12/13/2020

Dear CSN newsletter readers,

The Citizen Sentinels Network has maintained a project, originally deemed the David Project, since 2018. Especially, for those readers of faith, the Messages of Light originated as a genuine inspiration from Heavenly Father. It was initiated to bring Light into the dark in this time. At this time in the world, there is clear and present danger that requires the faithful to hold boldly and securely onto the foundations that are rooted in faith.

If you consider the messages in our Sunday edition relevant or meaningful and know others who might value them as well, consider yourself a Light mail messenger and please pass this newsletter on to those whom you feel could welcome it. Or, simply please receive it yourselves.

Even now,” declares the LORD, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.” Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the LORD your God, for He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and He relents from sending calamity. Who knows? He may turn and relent and leave behind a blessing— grain offerings and drink offerings for the LORD your God. Blow   the trumpet in Zion, declare a holy fast, call a sacred assembly. Gather the people, consecrate the assembly; bring together the elders, gather the children, those nursing  at the breast. Let the bridegroom leave his room and the bride her chamber. Let the priests, who minister before the LORD, weep between the portico and the altar. Let   them say, “Spare your people, LORD. Do not make your inheritance an object of scorn,  a byword among the nations. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’ Joel 2:12-17

The time of the prophet Joel is a similar time as Americans are living in. There was great danger facing the Hebrew people. But, Joel was relating in his messages that God was ‘compassionate’ and ‘abounding in love. It was a message that His son, Jeshua, echoed and made even more

Clear as Jeshua demonstrated his relationship to his Heavenly Father in a most substantial way.

Last week on December 10th, the holiday of Hanukkah commenced, and the Citizen Sentinels Network newsletter featured an article from Dr. Richard Moss entitled “Chanukah, Christmas, and Western Civilization.” In case anyone missed it, we provide a link to his article in today’s

“Recommended Reading” section.

Our first full article today is another from Apostle Tim Taylor, the founder of Kingdom League International. We feature a substantial excerpt from a longer blog post on their site, and a link to the original article can be found within the excerpt. Going to the original article will help as there are live links to previous and related relevant information. There is also a link within the excerpt in which readers can go to their Thursday night prayer sessions for America.

The second article is one from Dr. Robert Owens who provides a perspective regarding the same reality that people of faith are wrestling with in 2020. Especially since the election, many people are losing hope as the darkness seems to grow as we learn more about the corruption in our nation, and the flagrant fraud being perpetrated upon the American public.

Today we also have another article in our “Recommended Reading” section in addition to the seasonal one from Dr. Moss. The second article is from MyFaithVotes, which was written not long after the election. It is entitled: “Christians Take Notice: Critical Election Results Impacting Biblical Values, and it is a very informative summation of the election outcome for Christians.

We also have five videos for this week. The first video is one of President Trump with Melania delivering remarks about the Christmas season. It is a very good message as President Trump offers thanks to God for sending His son to redeem the world.

The second video is from Anna Hawkins singing “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” as a way of remembering the celebration of Hanukkah.

The third video is from Matt Redman in a live concert Trafalgar Square in 2019 singing the song “10,000 Reasons.”

The fourth video is from Dutch Sheets Ministries in which he advises to “Keep Contending; the Unraveling is Continuing.”

The fifth video is from Let us Worship with Sean Feucht at a rally in Washington, DC a week ago on December 6th. The video features Pastor Jentezen Franklin.

These words and images are being freely offered and are being sent to you as part of the David Project’s “Messages of Light.” Please receive today’s messages as a gift from those who care. They are only words that are being offered, freely, but some contain a deep message of faith, or a deeper expression of heart that readers can hopefully receive into their lives. As it was written: “Where there is no vision,  the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”    Proverbs 29:18 – KJV

May we, who are called by His name,  humble ourselves, pray and seek His face, and sincerely repent, and turn from our wicked ways – God is listening and watching from Heaven. He can forgive and can heal our land.

How Should the Remnant Church Stand? Resolute & on the Church Hill!

                                                         By Tim Taylor

Resolute according to Dictionary.com means to be firmly resolved.  Firmly determined in thought, set in purpose or opinion.  It is characterized by firmness and determination, in temper, spirit and action.

So how should the remnant stand today in the face of the Coronavirus, an election littered with

fraud, a large sleeping Church while a small portion rises up?  The answer is resolute.

Do you need an example of resolute?  I submit to you the determination and prophetic decree that Winston Churchill proclaimed in 1940 right after the British Army’s miraculous deliverance from Dunkirk.  Some call it his “We Shall Never Surrender” speech

The words of Churchill rallied a nation. You’ve got to understand the context.  Politicians and really poor decisions put their nation at risk.  They’d just been defeated in France and the deliverance of 4/5ths of the army was considered a victory.  Churchill understood the power  of his words.

Churchill is a Sign – Church Hill = Zion

I actually think Churchill is a sign.  Churchill attributed this miraculous deliverance to Britain’s unheralded Air Force.  I believe that the Church hill points to the mountain of the Lord’s house of prayer.  That was Zion. That is where David set up 24/7, prayer, praise and worship in a tent on Zion. I believe it is the key to victory today.  Psalm 2:6-7 says:

“Yet I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion.”  “I will declare the decree: The LORD has said to Me…”

The King is set on the Church hill through continual prayer, praise and worship (Psalm 22:3).

Their job, our job, the remnant’s job, is to “declare the decree” which God said to me.

The words of Churchill rallied a nation.  If the words of Churchill rallied a nation, how much more so should the Word of the Church from God’s holy hill do the same today in this nation?

How Are We To Stand and Fight at this Time in History?

Does it seem to you like all hope is lost because the election has not been officially decided yet?  I know many on the Left want everyone else to believe the lies.  It’s been so effective I’ve watched many a minister, or Christian, waffle and doubt.

Not me!  In fact, my resolution only grows stronger day by day.  The situation that provided the context for Churchill’s speech reminds me of Moses at the Red Sea to.  To most it seemed hopeless.  But watch how Churchill rallied a nation.  Click here to listen to his report followed his words that steeled and mobilized a nation.  In His “We Shall Never Surrender” speech he says, “We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender….”  He said,  “WE SHALL NEVER SURRENDER.” That my friends is ‘resolute.’

God warned of this day.  I shared in July of 2020 in The Bonhomme Richard is a Prophetic Sign that God warned us that we’d fight a battle like John Paul Jones did.  He was losing, outnumbered and when asked to surrender he declared these famous words, “Sir, I have not yet begun to fight.”  He went on to win the day and capture the enemy ship, which eventually sunk his ship.

It should come as no surprise that we are fighting a fight we seemed to be losing.  It’s like Daniel 7:21-22 which says,  “I was watching; and the same horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them, until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom.

The Key to Victory is Warring with God’s Word

Churchill and Jones understood the power of their words.  The scripture underscores this.  In 1 Timothy 1:18 Paul tells Timothy how to wage a good warfare.  Good warfare leads to victory.  How was he admonished? He was told to do good warfare with the prophetic words which had been spoken.  Psalm 2:6-7 reveals “I will declare the decree, the Lord has said to me.”

Lending your lips to declare the decree God said “to me” (through the Holy Spirit of His prophets – Amos 3:8) is the key to victory.

What is the Word of the Lord for This Time?

  1. It’s God’s will for President Trump to have a second term as God has an assignment for the United States in the world at this time…

Declare, we choose to agree with Your prophet’s Lord and we lend our lips to you and declare, President Trump will fulfill His second term, lies and fraud are exposed, and justice is restored as laws are applied to the law breakers.

  1.      2. Curt Landry in a Youtube segment from Dec 7, 2020, Moses at the Red Sea & America’s Deliverance revealed that “it is time to stand and that there is a remnant Church rising who’ll roar like the Lion of the Tribe of Judah! We’ve come to our Red Sea, but we are not going to have to wander in the wilderness for 40 years…

Declare, we call forth the remnant Church to arise and take her stand and to roar the word of the Lord in this day.

     3. For two years we’ve contended with Isaiah 28:16-18.  I invite you to join us… (on the Kingdom League International site for the rest of the message)  https://www.1church1day.org/blog/how-should-the-remnant-church-stand-resolute-on-the-church-hill

                                    “Finding Peace Amid Chaos”

                                                    Dr. Robert Owens

Rudyard Kipling in If, which I believe is the best poem ever written begins, “If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs and blaming it on you,” setting the stage for a recitation for the human qualities needed to rise above circumstances.  These are the types of mature actions and reactions visible when the shifting tides of daily life don’t toss us about like a piece of driftwood in the surf.  Maturity provides stability and confidence not shaken by the ebb and flow of change marking the boundaries of life.

Reading these traits often exposes the arrested development of those of us who may have grown up but have failed to mature.

This poem illuminates human wisdom as brilliantly as a bright light on a dark night reveals all within its circle of radiance.  It’s a work of brilliance by a man who was more than a journeyman wordsmith, a true master of the English language.  And like other works of genius it exposes timeless truth that can change the life of anyone who assimilates its message and lives out its guidance.  Other works such as How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie, or The 21 Indispensable Qualities of a Leader by John Maxwell are examples of this wisdom that can help us mature into successful people in a world filled with more obstacles than opportunities.

However, while wisdom, if it’s accepted and acted upon can help us succeed and prosper it cannot by itself bring us to the peace which passes all understanding.  Happiness is the world’s substitute for joy causing immature people to waste their lives tickling themselves to death for a smile.  In the same way the tranquility flowing from success and prosperity is the world’s substitute for peace.  True peace can only come from God for humanity needs peace with God to have peace within themselves.

You see when humanity decided to follow Satan instead of God, we immediately found an unbridgeable gulf between us and God.  This left a God shaped hole in our hearts and nothing can fill it except the God who created us.  On our own we can’t think our way to God.  We can’t follow enough rules, laws, or pious regulations to reach God.  Someone had to pay the price for all the sin from Adam to eternity and no one could do it except an eternal being.

We were guilty and in need of a mediator, “For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.”  In the court of heaven, we needed an attorney to represent us before the throne of justice, “If anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.”  You see He has paid the price and is ever ready to show the proof of His sacrifice since, “He solved the sin problem for good—not only ours, but the whole world’s.”

Jesus pointed the way to peace with God.  Telling us, “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Salvation is easy for, “if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”  Having done that it flows from the reborn spirit with in us that we will follow Him, doing the works that He did as He leads us into all peace.  And in His living word He gives the formula for peace, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

There is an ancient Chinese curse, “May you live in interesting times.”  In America today we find ourselves in the most interesting of times.  So as the endless election winds down to its inevitable conclusion, whether we face the resistance, riots, and impeachment that will greet a Trump victory or the shabby world of Progressive authoritarianism devolving from a Biden win, don’t let it steal your peace.

As He prepared to pay the ultimate price to ransom our lives Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”  And no matter how confusing, challenging, or frustrating it may become remember Jesus also said, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Let us bear up under these interesting times knowing that our faith in Christ makes us not just followers of God but children of God, “and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.”

Don’t be discouraged, instead hang on to your faith.  Don’t forget that the blinding lights and roaring furry of this crisis is but a blink of the eye for, “with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”   And, “we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever.”

Keep the faith.  Keep the peace.  We shall overcome.
