CSN Sunday – Messages of Light – 7/19/2020

Note From the Founder…

Dear Citizen Sentinels Network newsletter readers,

The Citizen Sentinels Network has maintained a project, originally deemed the David Project, since 2018. Especially, for those readers of faith, the Messages of Light originated as a genuine inspiration from Heavenly Father. It was initiated to bring Light into the dark in this time. At this time in the world, there is clear and present danger that requires the faithful to hold boldly and securely onto the foundations that are rooted in faith.

If you consider the messages in our Sunday edition relevant or meaningful and know others who might value them as well, consider yourself a Light mail messenger, please pass this who might value them as well, consider yourself a Light mail messenger, please pass this message on to those whom you feel could receive it. Otherwise, please receive it yourselves.

“I am your servant; give me discernment that I may understand your statutes. It is time for you to act, Lord; your law is being broken. Because I love your commands more than gold, more than pure gold, and because I consider all your precepts right, I hate every wrong path. Your statutes are wonderful; therefore I obey them. The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple. I open my mouth and pant, longing for your commands. Turn to me and have mercy on me, as you always do to those who love your name. Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me. Redeem me from human oppression, that I may obey your precepts. Make your face shine on your servant and teach me your decrees. Streams of tears flow from my eyes, for your law is not obeyed. You are righteous, Lord, and your laws are right.

The statutes you have laid down are righteous; they are fully trustworthy. My zeal wears me out, for my enemies ignore your words. Your promises have been thoroughly tested, and your servant loves them. Though I am lowly and despised, I do not forget your precepts. Your righteousness is everlasting and your law is true.”    Psalm 119:125-142

Last Sunday, I suggested that it “would be wise to wind the clock back to recover some other things… leading up to our nation’s birthday,” but I truly had to acknowledge that “the month    of June was chaotic,” as “Americans were filled through June with an outburst of hatred, resentment, and violence…” I stated that “Evil should not be given such free reign over a free people.” Yet, this is becoming more and more apparent, and the old adage that all it takes for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing comes to the forefront of my mind.         Winding the clock back in time did not really imply taking readers too far back.

That Sunday, I acknowledged that “especially, as the nation had been,,, ravaged by COVID-19, and all the collateral damage and fallout associated with the perception and response to the disease, to be plunged into a widespread racial conflict left people dazed and somewhat confused.” Many are still in such a state. I explained many Americans had various ways of dealing with what was happening to the U.S.A. in this perilous time.

We offered a diversity of messages last Sunday; they were intended to help in the recovery of our clarity of mind and heart from this turbulence. One offering was a prayer from John Piper, the Founder and teacher of desiringGod.org and chancellor of Bethlehem College & Seminary. He could help to recover the internal foundation through prayer of what we stand to lose if we go in    the wrong direction — upon the wrong path, following the illusion, following the lie.

My own conclusion was that God’s ”people would need something to cling to – something to hold on to” and that Jesus’ clarity of the two greatest of the Commandments and the gifts God gave to America at the founding were what we needed to hold onto tightly, and this was truly “essential.” I see this as a first step, but we also “need to turn from our ‘wicked ways’ and put into practice what Jesus asked of us.” However, I confessed that “I truly believe that this is a golden time in which Christians can truly demonstrate to the world what makes them truly Christian.” Additionally, I submitted: “If such a demonstration of faith is put into practice,   citizens can keep our Republic.”

These words were not idle words. I truly believe that it is not just God who must work to save our nation, but we all must do our part in alignment with God’s saving the Land of the Free. There are many who know this to be true, and they are willing to fight in this spiritual war to restore our Republic.

Today, our Messages of Light is from one of these people, Apostle Tim Taylor, the Founder, and overseer of Kingdom League International & the 1Church1Day strategy. He shared three messages recently, which are always very biblically-based, about how ancient wisdom can be of great help to the faithful in the fight against the powers of darkness presently at work now.

We are also offering a video link that Tim Taylor shared with his network that reveals a dream from Dr. Kynan Bridges regarding the POTUS and this time in our nation. It is appropriate.

These messages are intended to help us recover from the evil that had been unleashed just days after the killing of George Floyd. Ancient wisdom can help us revive and heal, so that God’s children can in turn, heal others.

These words are being freely offered and are being sent to you as part of the “David Project.” Please receive this message as a gift from those who care. They are only words that are being offered, freely, but some contain a deep message of faith, or a deeper expression of heart that readers can hopefully receive into their hearts.

As it was written: “Where there is no vision,  the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”    Proverbs 29:18 – KJV

May we humble ourselves, seek His face, seek His wisdom, seek His forgiveness and mercy, and turn from wickedness – even if it may mean one’s failure to listen to Heavenly Father and to study His word. Turning from wickedness may also mean discerning Satan’s lies and snares, and determining to seek His Kingdom.

”How to Apply Ancient Wisdom to Modern Issues!”

                                               By Tim Taylor

The following is an excerpt from Part I of an article with the same title.  A link to the original first in this series of articles can be found at the end of this excerpt. Parts II and III are also there as well, in case readers want to get to Tim Taylor’s points quickly.

The George Floyd case has been hijacked by various organizations and groups using witchcraft, lies, manipulation, and half-truths to play with the emotions of people and serves as the context for these thoughts from God’s word. The goal of this article is to help us view problems and solutions through a Biblical worldview. That means God’s word is used to frame the issues — not Islam, not Republicans, not Democrats, not any other religion and certainly not the major media of today.  Let us begin with some fundamental truths.

1.  My Personal Opinion Does Not Matter

The only one whose opinion matters is God’s truth, as compared to your opinion. Why?  Because one day each one of us will stand alone before Him to give an account of our lives. (Revelation 20:11) Jesus said in Matthew 12:36-37 “But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”  In John 12:47-48 He says, “And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge  him in the last day .”

Our words will be compared to God’s words. He spoke first! Therefore, it is up to us to compare our words and actions with His word. Bottom line, you and I have to judge. Do we choose to abide by and honor His word?  Or, will we choose to ignore His word?

2. God is the Creator of the Universe

God knows how everything works. He is the Creator. The Bible He gave us is His operator’s manual. It describes how everything works, and it describes the consequences for trying to operate life outside its design parameters. In fact, there are actions which if taken can void the warranty…  The cool thing is, if you choose to change your mind, or you repent, then you can also reinstate the eternal warranty.  Bottom line: God knows how the world works. He designed it — Not me, nor you!

3. There is no such thing as “My Truth.”

There is truth and then there is everything else which is not the truth. Anyone espousing “my truth” is only accurate if their thought is based upon, and or aligned with “the Truth.”  John 14:6  Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”  Sounds pretty narrow-minded don’t you think?  I submit it is, and that is why He says in Matthew 7:13-14: “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

Again, I will reiterate, my opinion does not matter one bit here.  If you are offended, then you are offended with God Himself.  These are His words!  I just happen to know what His word says and want to share it because I want to see you blessed. I don’t want to see anyone suffer. I want to see people set free and delivered from evil.  I want to see an abundance of people enjoy not only eternal life in the time to come but also a miraculous life now.

4. Did you know the Bible warned us about the racism issue?

Jesus said in Matthew 24:4-14…

Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.

And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

In the same portion of the scripture, the Church is given an assignment. That is to preach the gospel of the kingdom. The gospel of the kingdom is far more than a gospel of eternal salvation.  Eternal salvation is a very important part of the gospel of the kingdom, but it is still only a part.

5. The Racism Issue of This Day is Part of an Ancient War that Spilled from Heaven to Earth Revelation 12 reveals how a war between the Devil called Satan and God broke out and Satan was cast to earth.  It says that because he knows his time is short, he has great wrath.  It also reveals in Revelation 12:17 that …”the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” The name devil comes from the Greek word diablos and means false accuser and slander. So guess what his modus operandi is?   False accusation and slander!

Whether you like it or not, we are at war — a spiritual war. The issue at hand is the souls of men and women and their eternal destiny in heaven or in hell. Satan loves to put people through a living hell in advance just as God would love people to experience a taste of heaven before we transition into eternity.  Bottom line, the choice is ours.

6.  The War of Words in our Mind Field

This spiritual war is fought in our minds therefore words are extremely important. This is a   war where the prize is hearts and minds.  2 Corinthians 10:3-5 says, “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.”

The goal is to align our thoughts with God’s thinking. In the culture war, he who controls the language controls the lay of the land. Wise generals know how to strategically use the feature of the land to their advantage in war. Occupying the high ground provides an advantage and one of the ways our adversary, the Devil, seeks to give his children an advantage to introduce an alternative view that is contrary to truth. Why? Because if they can reframe the issue, then they can create a false or a faux moral high ground. For more information about this visit How the Enemy Creates  a Faux Moral High Ground

7.  Solving Problems Requires Dealing with Truth and Getting to the Root!

Jesus taught us how to discern a false prophet in Matthew 7:15-10.  He tells us to examine the fruit. In other words, what is produced. The following scriptures will help us discern between God’s ways and Satan’s ways, or heaven and hell.

[Note: Additional biblical quotations were provided by Tim Taylor in section 7 to further clarify his seventh point. This is a long article and sections have been shortened, and this section is truncated here to minimize reading time and still provide the essence of his message. A link is provided below for those who desire to read his complete article.]

So to summarize, when you see murder, lies, deception, destruction, stealing, looting, rioting, hatred, contentions, jealousy, dissensions, heresies, drunkenness, envy, self-seeking, demonic confusion, you’ll find its roots go all the way back to Satan.

Applying ancient wisdom applied to a modern problem requires knowing what the scripture says. Only when you know what the scripture says can you hold your experience or situation up to compare it with God’s word in order to glean wisdom.

Sadly, I have found so few that even read God’s word, much let actually know it.  Yet, they claim to be Christian.  Christian also means “Christ-like.” To discover what Christ is like requires daily prayer and daily reading God’s word…  There is a remnant Church arising in this time to address the issues at hand.

This was part one.  Watch for the second installment soon where I will delve into more scriptures that could be applied to the current race issues in America.
