Clown Show Democratic National Convention Gives President Trump Yuge Bump in the Polls
By Def-Con News – 8/23/2020
Traditionally in a presidential campaign, there are events that give a candidate a bump in the polls, like selecting a VP and the party convention. Joe Biden had a 14-point lead over Donald Trump and then he picked Kamala Harris to be his running mate, which caused his lead to drop 10 points. Equally as dismal for the democrats, their national convention has actually given President Trump a huge bump with his job approval rating going through the roof. On top of which, both candidates are now in a tie in Minnesota, a state that has gone for the democrats for almost a half-century.
A CNN poll taken after Biden picked Harris, but before the DNC shows that Crazy Joe’s 14-point national lead went down to 4 points:
“Joe Biden’s lead over Donald Trump among registered voters has significantly narrowed since June, according to a new CNN poll…
Overall, 50% of registered voters back the Biden-Harris ticket, while 46% say they support Trump and Pence, right at the poll’s margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.
Across 15 battleground states, the survey finds Biden has the backing of 49% of registered voters, while Trump lands at 48%.”
In reality, Biden and Trump are tied nationally and Trump has the lead in battleground states.
Nice job picking Kamala, Joe.
No worries, this poll was taken before the DNC and there’s always a significant convention bump, right? Not this time. Check this out from Rasmussen:
And here it is:
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll sponsored by Liberty Nation for Thursday shows that 51% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance.
Forty-eight percent (48%) disapprove.
And there’s more bad news for Biden and the democrats: reliably blue Minnesota is now in play.
A poll from the Trafalgar Group, the only pollsters to accurately predict Trump’s 2016 wins in Michigan and Pennsylvania, show that Trump and Biden are in a dead heat in Minnesota. The state last went to a Republican in 1972 when Richard Nixon won it. Hillary carried Minnesota by 1.5% and Obama won it 8%.
Some of this could be that people in Minnesota are horrified by the democrats running the state letting Black Lives Matter destroy their cities, but a lot of it has to do with Kamala Harris. A poll taken a week before Biden picked her to be his running mate showed he had a 4-point lead.
Again, way to pick ‘em Joe.
The DNC hasn’t been any help either. Besides the fact that it’s as energizing as a handful of Ambien, it’s been a non-stop parade of pedophiles, anti-Semites, and far left kooks badmouthing and lying about President Trump. There’s been no talk of the democratic party platform nor any reasons given for why people should vote for Joe.
Getting no bump and actually losing ground is bad news for Biden. He’s still hiding out in his basement bunker, which has been the only thing keeping his campaign afloat. He will soon have to emerge from that basement to debate President Trump and face actual questions from actual journalists. Once the people see what a drooling empty shell he is, it’s over.
Here’s a couple more things that spell doomsday for the democrats: 1) the democrat’s fear
campaign that Trump is destroying the Post Office to steal the election has had no effect on the
polls and 2) in 2016, Hillary Clinton had a much larger lead in the polls and she still got her
