SAN JOSE, CA: The issue of morality, once again, has taken the center stage within the American political arena. The mainstream media are amplifying the official mantra of the lack of morality as an issue to derail President Donald Trump’s pick for the Supreme Court. The Kavanaugh Hearings, with all the salacious content, concern over sophomoric yearbooks and the idea that boys will drink beer, had nothing to do with right or wrong. Or protecting women. It was about bearing false witness against a good man.
Morality viewed through Democrats rose colored glasses
However, it may strike the casual observer that the outcry from Democrat leaders over immorality in this moment in time rings hollow.
Suddenly, morality matters to the “Democratic” Party? This is quite revealing and hypocritical.
When morality becomes important to the “Democratic” Party, it is usually because they can utilize inequities to smear a political opponent.
In this case, the political target is Judge Brett Kavanaugh. However, the morality or possible immorality of Judge Brett Kavanaugh is not what his confirmation hearing is about.
The hearing is about the retention of political power and Democrat manipulation and control of a nation.
This may come as a shock to many millennials who have gravitated towards the enticements of socialism in recent years. However, many American Citizens truly need some perspective on the revealing display of political theatrics swirling around the abuse of women.
When it comes to sexual abuse, can you really take Democrats seriously?
Intelligent and independent thinking citizens should honestly question whether Democrat leaders have had a serious shift in concerns over the abuse of women since the days of Bill Clinton. Those who were not adults, or those not even alive in the 1990s are at a disadvantage. They did not live through Bill Clinton’s infidelity while governor of Arkansas much less while president.
In those days, Democrat leaders did not offer such public indignation over issues of Bill Clinton’s abuse of women. In fact, Democrats did all they could to obstruct the truth. Just consider the treatment of Juanita Broderick, et al.
Bill Clinton was promoted within the ranks of the “Democratic” Party despite his personal immorality.
Democrat leaders in that period did not go on record to disparage Bill Clinton’s sexual predation. Even today, what Democrat leader has gone on record to condemn former President Clinton for his acts of lewd and immoral behavior within the walls of the White House?
Democrats looked the other way then because they needed to win elections. As they look the other way today over the credible allegations against Minnesota AG Keith Ellison.
So, if considered what has passed is not that important now, have Democrats changed their attitudes toward the abuse of women since Bill Clinton’s indiscretions? Has some genuine shift occurred in the new millenium amongst Democrat leaders?
Remember Senator John Edwards?
Well, one of the promising “golden boy” leaders of the Democrats, Senator John Edwards, was the Party’s candidate for vice president running with Senator John Kerry was ultimately caught in a sexual scandal of infidelity.
In 2008, Edwards ran in the primaries for the Democratic bid for president in his own right. However, Americans discovered he had an extramarital affair with a woman with whom he had a daughter, while his wife, Elizabeth, was suffering from terminal breast cancer.
John Edwards was a leader of the Democrats. Do we believe Edwards truly concerned whether he was abusing his wife by fooling around with another woman? Democrat leadership does not comprehend the meaning of a good husband. So, American citizens should now believe Democrat leaders are care about morality?
Some may argue that this was an example of ten years ago, and what has passed is not that important now, and Democrat leaders have changed their attitudes toward the abuse of women.
The provable sexual abuse charges against Democrat Keith Ellison
Well, the current co-chairman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), Keith Ellison, has also had charges of sexual abuse brought against him. Karen Francis Monahan, ex-girlfriend of Minnesota Representative Ellison possesses hard medical evidence of sexual abuse at the hands of Congressman Ellison. Her accusations have been virtually ignored by her own political party. It has also largely been ignored by the mainstream media. Where were the stories of outrage on MSM? Where in Minnesota was the “We believe women” rally of women rallying in the defense of Ms. Monahan?
If Democrat leaders have changed their attitudes toward the abuse of women, then why has the “Democratic” Party chosen to selectively ignore a woman who has charges of abuse against one of their top leaders? A blatant double standard? Absolutely!
When Karen Monahan was asked whether Democrat leaders listened to her allegations, she recently tweeted:
No, they don’t… I’ve been smeared, threatened, isolated from my own party. I provided medical records from 2017, stating on two different Dr. Visits [sic], I told them about the abuse and who did it. My therapist released records stating I have been dealing and healing from the abuse.
“No, they don’t,” Monahan tweeted in response to a question whether the party believes women’s stories. “I’ve been smeared, threatened, isolated from my own party.I provided medical records from 2017, stating on two different Dr. Visits,I told them about the abuse and who did it.
Democrat leaders have not changed over the years since the days of Bill Clinton’s indiscretions.
These cases of infidelity or abuse are not shadowy memories of a possible or imagined incident of sexual abuse. These examples have legitimate histories behind them, not hopeful pre-planned political outcomes before them.
In fact, in 2016, Hillary Clinton was trying to win the election for President of the United States. One wonders how difficult, how emotionally traumatic it may have been for her to seek a return to the very White house where her husband, Bill Clinton, had the audacity to have intimate physical sexual relations in the White House with Monica Lewinsky, multiple times.
Democrats Laughable Field General against Sexual Abuse
Yet, Hillary Clinton has never publicly declared that what her husband did to their marriage, or did to her, was reprehensible. She never condemned such morally disgusting actions.
In point of fact, the woman’s champion, Hillary Clinton, actually served as the “field general” to manage the public relations fallout from the damning national scandal, just as she had to mitigate damage related to her husband’s “frolicking” in Arkansas, in New Hampshire, and in the Executive Mansion.
Instead of moral outrage in those times, it was Mrs. Clinton who would go on the offensive to fight the good fight to protect her predator husband. She was good at making sure the scandals were “swept under the rug.”
Hillary was very good at manipulating public perceptions of her predator husband.
Democrats manipulation for power
Today in 2018, American citizens are witnessing Democrat leaders who are also quite good at manipulating public perceptions. But it is not for women. This latest spectacle was their last-ditch effort to protect Roe v. Wade, not protect women from predators.
Instead of covering up or ignoring the true abuse of women, there is an attempt at portraying an abuse, from long, long ago, as a reason to trash a good man’s reputation.
In fact, the drama that is unfolding may turn out to be a case of bearing false witness against an innocent man.
But what would Democrats care about the Ten Commandments?
The Democrat leaders have already demonstrated they do not really believe in morality, as top leaders have repeatedly ignored, committed or defended adultery.
So what would keep them from bearing false witness against an innocent person?
