Our Power on President’s Day
Olivia Reed – 2/19/19
We live in such a blessed nation! Truly, it’s unlike any other country I know.
As I have been participating in the political process lately, I am in awe as to how much voice we really do have in our nation. As I sit and ponder this power from a spiritual perspective, I am reminded of our great authority in the Kingdom through Yeshua/Jesus our Messiah .
Luke 9:1-2 says, “And having called His twelve taught ones together, He gave them power and authority over all demons, and to heal diseases. And He sent them to proclaim the reign of Elohim and to heal the sick.
The quickest way for the enemy to render us as invalid, is to make us forget our actual authority and our rightful inheritance through Jesus.
We have power over disease and demons in the spiritual and in the natural, we have not only a voice, but a true say as to how to our nation is run. This nation is truly a nation by the people, for the people.
It’s our greatest strength but can also be used as our greatest weakness. When we forfeit our authority and our voice, others will come in to take what we have just abdicated and use it for evil instead of good.
Our authority didn’t come at a cheap price. It took a great sacrifice from Yeshua as well as the Father watching His Only Begotten Son hang on a tree. Just like our freedom in this nation didn’t come at a cheap price: It came from many wars fought and much bloodshed to ensure life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness and justice for all.
Let’s strive to be good stewards of the blood that was shed today by keeping our focus on the Father, Our focus on hearing His words for us today. Let’s use our authority in prayer and use our Constitutional rights to our political process and to get involved to bring 2020 into victory.

As always, thank you for being a part of the Army of God. May your day be blessed and filled with favor and shalom!
