I recently watched Senator Kamala Harris announce she was running for President. If I didn’t know better, I would think I was listening to a Trump speech. She told us how so very much she loved America, was going to be the champion of the forgotten American and would fix many problems. When she talked about her Progressive solutions, I was instantly brought back to reality.
Health care for all, universal pre-school and debt-free college, and increased wages for the working-class and middle-class wage earners. There is going to be a tax increase on big corporations and the wealthy.
There’s a problem with all of this; a math problem. Big corporations and “the wealthy” all could be taxed at a 100% rate and they still couldn’t pay for all of her promises. If she’s successful, there will be tax increases for everyone who pays taxes.
Showing even more of her Progressive inclinations, she went to the social justice cultural war. She wants to fight the hate and bigots that supposedly infect very large swaths of the country, when in reality it is only a tiny fraction of the people. She is calling for fights against sexism, homophobia, transphobia, Islamophobia, and racism. She’s intent on fixing the problem, which means cutting back on free speech through political correctness.
Harris said now is the time to fight. That means she is going to fight you. Are you going to fight back? Are you going to fight to defend our religious liberty? Are you going to fight to protect your second amendment rights? What about your rights to free speech and your right to assemble and petition the government? How about your property rights?
If your answer is yes, then you have to join other conservatives and moderates to put some muscle into this fight. You are going to have to work with President Trump supporters like Senator Mike Braun and Senator Mitch McConnell, and other Conservative and moderate leaders. You are going to have to put in time and money for us to be successful. You must put your heart and soul into this struggle. Are you up for this fight?
