CSN Sunday – Messages of Light – 4/26/2021

Dear CSN newsletter readers,

The Citizen Sentinels Network has maintained a project, originally deemed the David Project, since 2018. We are in our second year of existence in a hostile political environment! For those readers of faith, the Messages of Light originated as a genuine inspiration from our Heavenly Father. It was initiated to bring Light into the dark in this time. And especially at this time in our nation and in the world, there is clear and present danger that requires the faithful to hold boldly and securely onto the foundations that are rooted in faith.

If you consider the messages in our Sunday edition relevant or meaningful and know others who might value them as well, consider yourself a Light mail messenger and please pass this newsletter on to those whom you feel could welcome it. Or simply, please receive it yourselves.

"A Good Ending" — Heartlight®

When Jesus came into the coasts of Cæsarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, ‘Whom  do men say that I the Son of man am?’ And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, ‘But whom say ye that I am’? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, ‘Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be  loosed in heaven.’ Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.

From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. But he turned, and said unto Peter, ‘Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.’”      Matthew 16:13-23  (AKJV)

“Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God    2 Timothy 1:6-8 (AKJV)

Faith or fear? Christian response to the continuing “pandemic”

                                              By A. Dru Kristenev

April 22, 2021

Last March, I posed some pertinent questions to be asked of our churches. The column was published April 1, 2020, but was not a joke in addressing the Church and our pastors in how they were responding to the so-called Covid crisis.

It seems the quandaries have not changed significantly as some churches have fully opened their doors to worshippers with or without government approval, but others are still coddling members as they cower behind useless masks or, worse: locked doors.

More than a year later, our nation and the rest of the world is being threatened by fascistic efforts to compel vaccination against a virus that is yet to be quantified by valid research. The following is lifted directly from that April 1st column, “Power of the Church denied in the wake of Covid-19,” because too many believers have shelved their faith in favor of government and media-generated fear.

“Has the Church finally handed over all authority to government by disallowing believers the right to gather for worship, which is ordained scripturally? Those who have been reading my columns for years will know that the first step to abdicating authority to the government comes by incorporating to receive a 501(c)(3) letter from the IRS granting non-profit status and implying it can be revoked.

“As Christians, what do you say when asked what is the most powerful entity on earth? Answer: the Church, meaning the whole of believers who understand that Jesus’ sacrifice, death and resurrection offers believers more than eternal Life. It delivers His power to the faith-filled. Matthew 6:9-13, Matthew 18:18-20, Romans 4, Hebrews 11.

“Do Christians really believe in the power of God’s Word that protects them from all forms of enemy including pestilence? Psalm 91, Psalm 103:3, Isaiah 53:4-5, 1 Peter 2:24, etc. Or do they fear gathering to study, worship and pray, thinking it will allow disease to spread rather than bind it?

“Should churches lock-out members from regular services and is this practice, being enforced by some government agencies, meant to weaken the Church by isolating worshippers and impeding one of the vital aspects of assembling and most powerful expressions of faith – corporate prayer?

“Taking just the mentioned passages into consideration, how important is it to come together as the Word exhorts believers to do – to meet regularly for edification, worship, prayer and support?

“Scripture calls for the elders to anoint with oil and pray for those who request it to assist their healing. James 5:14. The church appears to be attending to governmental agencies’ decrees that override implicit passages of the Bible that promote healing, not disease and infection. Jesus’ said “…upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Matthew 16:17-18. The question must be asked of believers if the coronavirus is stronger than the “gates of hell” over which the Church triumphs. Further, Isaiah 54:17 states that “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper…

“Are believers, in effect, denying the credence of God’s Word in favor of government guidelines? Obviously, where there is doubt and/or fear, it’s best to follow worldly wisdom. And much of the church is acting according to that doubt, what Christ called unbelief.

“In the end, walking completely by faith isn’t as simple as it looks. The situation requires each person and each congregation to consider their teaching about healing and protection from disease. That will be the deciding factor as to whether a church welcomes congregants to gather under one roof during this fear-ridden time or if it is prudent to rely on social media to keep social distances in check. Perhaps some pastors will encourage meetings of a dozen in individual homes “where two or three are gathered together in my name.”

“Core beliefs, and thus our First Amendment rights, are being challenged.

“It comes down to fear or faith. 2 Timothy 1:7 – “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

“What says the Church?”

It appears that too many Christians are still operating under the fear of contracting a virus that has a 98.2 percent recovery rate and that faulty results from the ubiquitous PCR test has overestimated infections by a monumental number. In fact, the scientific community has yet to establish a “gold standard” by which to interpret such tests that were considered inappropriate for diagnosing viral infections by its Nobel prize-winning inventor, Kary Mullis. (Although the article linked is from last year, by this date there has been no progress made in identifying such a gold standard.)

With the lack of true science to back the masking of world populations, how is it that Christians are still ignoring God’s Word and kowtowing to a control-oriented culture that debases, despises and is actively trying to destroy the Church? How is it possible to profess Faith while allowing fear to rule a believer’s life? And, finally, if Christians will not hold onto Faith and stand for the Truth, who will?

I reiterate… What says the Church?

This week we are trying something new and cutting my input or introductory statements down a bit as I would prefer the focus be more upon the featured messages we provide in our editions. If anyone seriously misses my commentary, you can send us a commentary on what you are missing. Needless to say, anyone who reads the newsletter, knows that I have a lot to say. But,

I will take my turn and offer my messages when appropriate. I hope all will understand.

Today, we feature a message from A. Dru Kristenev that she wrote last year, but she has seen to revising it for this year. She originally wrote this message as COVID was ascending through the world.  February, and for one reason or another, it was postponed. Much of what she wrote then is still now quite relevant. Her message is directed toward the Church; but in essence, the  Church is the body of Christ. We hope her frank approach can help readers in many ways.

In addition to this message, we have eight videos today, which are all good. But we would like to call attention to the story of the Church in Tennessee that is going through an incredible revival. We have an article, which includes a video in our “Recommended Reading,” and a video under the Tennessee entry in our “Around the Republic” segment. In the video, the minister is going through an explanation of what has been happening to me in California as well. What he is describing is what I have also been receiving from the Holy Spirit, so please do not dismiss this as some backwoods reality in Tennessee. The Holy Spirit is moving across America and is now touching those who can open to it. But, it definitely is related to pro-active prayer as described by Pastor Robby Gallaty of Long Hollow Baptist Church in Hendersonville, Tennessee,

We also offer a number of music videos that are related in one way or another on the message for today, or to the other messages in the other videos. Pay attention to what Dutch Sheets is talking about as I just had an unusual experience this morning as two eagles were circling over my home as I was on my back porch in prayer. Also, read Rick Joyner’s message featured in our reading section.

Also, in case anyone is missing our “Citizen Voice” live video programs, I included a couple of links to past episodes. The most recent is the interview of Pastor Earl Wallace of Liberty Christian Fellowship of New York. Hopefully, readers can tune into this program as it promises to be quite educational and motivational as well.

Tune in Monday to our Citizen Sentinels “Citizen Voice” Live Video Program. Our video project, the “Citizen Voice” is live on Monday afternoons! We ask that readers check out the half-hour program via live-streamed programs from 1:30 – 2:30pm PDT or 4:30 – 5pm EDT,  and all the relative times “in-between in local viewing areas.” We are grateful for our hosts at Wisconsin Christian News network that are projecting the half-hour program on their site. You can tune in next Monday by accessing this link:

These words and images are being freely offered and are being sent to you as part of the David Project’s “Messages of Light.” Please receive today’s messages as a gift from those who care. They are only words that are being offered, freely, but some contain a deep message of faith, or a deeper expression of heart that readers can hopefully receive into their lives. As it was written: “Where there is no vision,  the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”    Proverbs 29:18 – KJV

May we humble ourselves, seek the Spirit of God, seek His truth, seek His love, and repent for our own timidity in taking greater responsibility to reflect His light into the darkness of our world and to be better stewards of the Free Republic He gave to us.
