CSN Sunday – Messages of Light – 9/6/2020

Dear CSN newsletter readers,

You may have received and read the previous CSN Sunday edition today, but there was an error in that posting. The previous rendition left out the video link to out primary message. As it is the Labor Day weekend, not many may have noticed, but one of editors called attention to the omission. We apologize for those who received the incomplete version. Below is our corrected rendition. Thank you for your understanding and for reading the CSN newsletter.

If you consider the messages in our Sunday edition relevant or meaningful and know others who might value them as well, consider yourself a Light mail messenger, please forward this to those who might value them as well; consider yourself a Light mail messenger and please pass the message to those whom you feel could receive it. Otherwise, please receive it yourselves.

“Sir,” the woman said, “I can see that you are a prophet. Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem.”

“Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.”

Then Jesus declared, “I, the one speaking to you—I am he.”  John 4:19-26 (NIV)

Generation Jesus: What's Love Got to do with it? : Part I

It seems as if there is a more rapid progression of time in 2020, because there are so many events that are transpiring, and so much turbulence that it can boggle the mind, or start it spinning due to all that is happening. It seemed not that long ago that the year was just  beginning, and now there is less than two months before one of the most important elections in  the history of the nation, and less than four months before the year will expire. This may go down in history as one of the most eventful years in U.S. history. Certainly, unless people have been sleeping under a proverbial rock, those events have impacted Americans in a significant way, either directly or indirectly. Prophets and those in alignment with Heaven believe that much of the “shaking” going on is originating from God. And, indeed much that has been hidden in the darkness is now coming into the light of day.

While this is a time of despair and a fearful time for some, those who are rooted in faith, see this as a time of tremendous change and transformation. Certainly, to be able to “weather the storms,” and to deal with the  shaking and the turbulence in the nation and all over the world, whether the source is good or evil, one must have something to hold onto. And, faith rather than fear will provide that which could prove unshakeable in such times. And, it is definitely a time in which we need to worship the Lord in Spirit and in Truth. As Jesus said: “true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.”

We offer three messages today to help strengthen our worship of our Father in Heaven at this special time. And, in this Sunday’s message, we feature the video of a modern-day prophet with a seminal message for this time. The second message is on the Bible, which is a focus upon the truth. The third message is a simple announcement of a worship service here on the West Coast.

Recently, there has been even more stirring in the Christian realm because of a message from Johnny Enlow who reported on the Sid Roth show discussing a new book that he seemed to be peddling, but the essential message is the most important part of the video. And although this made it to Facebook, someone reworked the session in his own “negative image.” So, this video link should be stable. So, today’s main message is about the revelation from Johnny Enlow regarding the times we are currently living in as described in his new book, The End of the World as We Know It. Johnny Enlow is the one who introduced the Seven Mountains perspective that is being utilized in ministries all around the world at this time.

The second message we provide today is from our brother-in-Christ, Dr. Robert Owens, who has become a regular contributor to the Citizen Sentinels Network news. Dr. Owens is a minister as well as a teacher of history and religion as mentioned by the brief biography following his message. His message is relevant to many who seek the truth. In reality, the truth still exists; but sadly, not everyone seeks truth, so they continue to remain in ignorance. Little good or greatness originates from ignorance.

The final message is more of an announcement from Apostle Tim Taylor that called attention to the return of Sean Feucht’s “Riots to Revival” to the West Coast from September 3-7. We have posted videos of Sean Feucht’s revivals in the Messages of Light in the past. The message from Tim Taylor is primarily for those in California, Oregon, and Washington state. However, there is a link to amazing activities going on in Washington – and it has nothing to do with Antifa or BLM.

We also offer two additional music videos today. One is from “Vertical Worship,” and the song is called “Spirit of the Living God.” The second video is from a young man named Zach Williams, who managed to turn his life around and offer it to God. Williams offers a strong condemnation of fear in his song “Fear Is a Liar.” Please enjoy.

These words are being freely offered and are being sent to you as part of the David Project’s “Messages of Light.” Please receive today’s messages as a gift from those who care. They are only words that are being offered, freely, but some contain a deep message of faith, or a deeper expression of heart that readers can hopefully receive into their lives. As it was written: “Where there is no vision,  the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”    Proverbs 29:18 – KJV

May we humble ourselves, seek His face, seek His wisdom, seek His love and guidance in the valley of the shadow of death, through these times of tribulation. We truly need deep wisdom to enable us to act, to turn from walking in the ways of the world, and to return our love to Him —  “…with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself…”

“This End Is Just the Beginning”

                                              From  Johnny Enlow

Sid Roth features Johnny Enlow on his television program in this video. Johnny Enlow gave a report to Sid Roth’s audience on the information he shares in his new book that is titled The End of the World as We Know It. Johnny Enlow’s first book introduced the revelation of the Seven Mountains message. Although it is a bit of a pitch for this new book, the video will help open the viewers minds to the coming of what Enlow refers to as the “Kingdom era.”

Johnny encourages you to put fear behind you and to focus on what God is doing in such a time as this. The world is our inheritance now!

And you will also smile with Johnny as he says, “No matter what happens over the next few hours and days—everyone, remain calm. This is not the end, but only the end of the world as we know it…”

How Can I Trust the Bible?

                                                     By Dr. Robert Owens

                                                              August 24, 2020

Sometimes we try to define God’s words and actions too perfectly.  In our arrogance we think we can adequately describe exactly what God always means in all situations.  This easily can lead us into thinking our doctrines are God’s doctrines.  We act as if God is sitting on the throne studying our catechisms and judging by our standards.

When we do this, we’re trying to put God in a box.  The biggest problem with this is that when God decides to draw outside the lines, we run the risk of misidentifying a move of God as a heresy because it violates one of our rules.

It’s good to devote our efforts to grasping the meanings of God’s Word; however, we must always be aware that it’s possible to veer from seeking understanding to believing we have cornered the market on this valuable commodity.  We just can’t reduce the immensity of God into formulas.  In any equation we devise to represent God, His Word, or His actions the “X” of God is always undefined.

Eternity, infinity, and omnipresence are all terms we can define but we can never fully comprehend.  The reality of God, the only self-existent One is as far removed from our understanding as the operation of a supercomputer is from an amoeba.  Or as one of the prophets put it, “’For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,’ says the Lord. ‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.’”

We must acknowledge that we can’t think our way to or through God’s truth.  Our human minds are fundamentally incapable of encompassing such immensities.  As the man who wrote most of the New Testament tells us, “But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

Many unbelievers and sceptics try to cast aspersions on the Word of God by pointing out what they perceive as contradictions in the text.  When we’re reading or meditating in the Word if we encounter anything we feel is a contradiction don’t let it weaken your faith instead stand on faith. Instead of wavering do as one of the New Testament authors suggests, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.  But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.  For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”

And don’t despair, don’t think I just can’t understand this.  Don’t think God has given us a puzzle instead of a revelation.  Just because we can never fully understand all of it does not mean we can’t understand any of it.  Just because we can’t use God’s Word to develop a spiritual unifying field theory for every person everywhere every time it doesn’t mean we can’t understand enough with God’s help to have a reliable guide for life.  The Bible itself addresses the ability of the born-again believer to embrace the revelation of God, “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.”

And for those who say, “The Bible has been translated so many times by so many people how can we know it’s the true unadulterated Word of God.”  Personally I believe that if the God of all creation went to all the trouble to send prophets and apostles over thousands of years of time to write down His Word to humanity and if after thousands of years of unbelievers trying unsuccessfully to burn and destroy that Word it has not only survived, it has thrived. I can believe His Word has ended up in my hands in a pure enough form for me to hear what He’s saying.

Sean Feucht’s Riots to Revival is Returning to the NW – September 3-7 Picture

By Tim Taylor – 8/27/20 – Did you see Christian Breaking News article about Sean Feucht in early August before he came to Portland and Seattle titled, “Riots to Revival, Sean Feucht Bringing Worship and Prayer to the Frontlines of Two Embattled Cities: Portland & Seattle?”  We joined Sean and about a thousand believers in Cal Anderson Park in downtown Seattle in the area of what was previously called CHOP/CHAZ.  Click here  for a report about the great courage demonstrated that day:

We just got word that a businessman stepped up to help bring Sean and his team back to the Seattle area.  People and churches have done the same from Sacramento, to Salem and Vancouver Washington too. The times and locations follow. (two have already elapsed)

We’d like to invite you, no…. strongly urge you…. to join with the Church in Sacramento, Salem, Vancouver or Seattle to worship and pray in early September.

Ephesians 3:10 says that God chose through the Church to show forth His manifold wisdom to principalities and powers. God reveals through Psalm 149 the tremendous power that is available through praise and worship while Leviticus 26:8, Deuternonomy 32:30 and Matthew 18:19 illustrate the tremendous power in agreement.  My friends, every person, every church and every ministry counts.

If there were ever a time for the real Church, the remnant Church to arise, it is now!  With that in mind, let us pray and then put our faith in action so as to see the 1000 that joined us in Seattle grow to 10,000.  Let us boldly engage in prayer, praise and worship so as to invite God’s abiding presence into our chaotic cities so that they might be transformed.

My wife Brenda mused the other day wondering if Sean might be a modern day version of the prophet and song writer, Keith Green.  What say you?

Details for Seattle, Vancouver, Salem and Sacramento
