Memorial Day was created within the ashes of the death and destruction of the First Civil War in order to honor the staggering number of dead American (over 600,000) men and boys. This past holiday several sacred reminders reflected the honor Americans still give to those who had given their lives for the sake of Freedom itself. It is reflective that the ideals of Freedom are still evident within the internal DNA of Americans.
Yet, there was something quite profound that also emerged from within the nation at the time of the Civil War, and that was the increased religious or spiritual sentiments among the people. It led to many positive developments, despite the horrors from the devastation, and one of the most profound was the placing of “In God We Trust” on coins minted for common use in the United States. According to the history, truly buried and likely long forgotten now, Salmon P. Chase, the Secretary of the Treasury under Abraham Lincoln, “received numerous appeals from devout people of faith throughout the country, all urging that the United States recognize the Deity on U.S. coins…”
Last Tuesday, after severely wounding his grandmother, 18-year-old Salvador Ramos crashed his truck into a ditch near Robb Elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, exited the vehicle with an AR-style rifle (that he had legally obtained) and headed for the school. He entered the school through a door facing the teachers’ parking lot which was left ajar. As he was entering the school, he shot and wounded two Uvalde police officers just arriving at the scene, said Texas Department of Public Safety spokesman Travis Considine.
Ramos entered the school at 11:30 a.m., went into a fourth grade classroom, secured the door from within, and began shooting the 19 children and two teachers inside. Local police began arriving at the scene shortly after the first 9-1-1 calls were made from the school and waited for “back-up…”
If there is one specific point driven home in CFP’s new Nova Scotia house by the sea, it’s that everyday life goes on without Justin Trudeau and other ‘world leaders’ just as it has in this little village and elsewhere. The sun rises and sets with each passing day without the help or hindrance of any politician. Farmers till their fields as they have for centuries. Shepherds still watch over their flocks by night. Life goes on for little people in many places…
Below is the script for a talk I gave on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at a rally against censorship at Facebook Headquarters in Menlo Park, California alongside local and national freedom fighters such as Robert Kennedy Jr., Naomi Wolf, Kevin Jenkins, Dr. Brian Hooker, Reinette Senum, Neil Mammen, Pastor Rob McCoy, Brianne Dressen, Denise Aguilar, and Tara Thornton. Hundreds attended. It was a powerful and inspiring event.
Listen to me. No more whining. I don’t want to hear anyone whining about censorship. We are standing in a special place and there is a lesson to learn from where we are at. And that lesson gives you, gives me, gives every one of us an advantage. Come on in closer. Gather round. I have a story to tell. Come on, gather in.
If anything, Progressives have a goal of destroying families. They do so in schools, and the legislation they passed in D.C., State capitals, City councils, and County councils. This was observed by Ben Shapiro. Progressives “…insist on killing babies up to and beyond the moment of birth, mutilating children’s genitals, chemically castrating little boys, and forcing girls to compete against boys in sports.” He notes we, as Conservatives, must conserve the Constitution, our Judeo-Christian culture, and individual rights…
We continue to urge citizens to take ownership of the responsibility to keep the Republic!
Remember, an educated and enlightened citizenry is vital for our future. As it has been written:
“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” Proverbs 29:18 – KJV
The Citizens Voice provides information that the mainstream media hopes people don’t receive. Forward these newsletters to your friends and let them witness, first hand, that there is more than one side to a story. Then they will begin to understand the peril that our nation is in and be able to make informed decisions.
We are truly thankful for all of our readers who have chosen to assist our efforts in bringing the information and words of encouragement to all Americans we can possibly reach. We are truly grateful for the generous donations from our fellow Citizen Sentinels. It helps us keep going as a truly volunteer effort. Thank you so very much for whatever can be given.
“If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin.” ~ Samuel Adams, 1776
Ownership of our Republic is now the fight of our time! Keeping our Republic depends upon the genuine sense of ownership of the Land of the Free. Either this is our country, or it will belong to those who are actively seeking to take it from us. It is the same mentality that inspired someone long ago to express the sentiment that “All it takes for evil to triumph is that good people do nothing.” Efforts to take responsibility for keeping this nation a free Republic are organically occurring right now all across the nation.
